BOO-URNS! I want Lupul-Kadri-Frattin!

(But I guess I am ok with this too)

- markmark

Lupul should go back to working with Bozak and Kessel... we know that can work.

MacArthur should go back to revive Grabo and Kulemin

Kadri, JVR and Frattin ... now that's got some upside to it... Frattin with the shot, Kadri dancing and dishing and JVR parking his large posterior in Carey Price's face... just prior to Frattin skating through the crease "accidentally" hitting Price in the side of the head with his hip...

ya... like that.

scrum ensues... next shift Mclement, Orr and McLaren come over the boards to "settle things down".... gloves and sticks optional.

ahh yes ... the first round of the playoffs... 1 v 8 or 2 v 7... could be fun.

Ease Lupul into the line up. Start him on the third line for now, IMO.

Yea....convincing.

Anger and confusion. You're rolling hard.

- systemtool

This whole angle didnt work on me last time why try it again?

Its simple. If they move Hemsky I feel he'll get more value than many think. You don't. Its a simple difference of opinion and we wont know an answer unless he actually gets traded. Fair enough?

It was a troll blog. 90% of his blogs are. Drives up his hit count. Im assuming you know this. Same principle as Damien Cox, except Cox is considered somewhat legit.
- sanfordnson

He does it every blog he writes come on man you can at least admit that. Yeah cox is an idiot I don't get why sportsnet even puts him on tv.

He might be a trade deadline call up as it is going at the moment, until a trade happens, he staying put, I know Holzer is eligible to be sent down but after signing an extension and Carlyle liking him, can't see that happening now, but you never know.

Steckel is the one who will be put on waivers any day now.

- LeafMan

But seriously, how can you pick HOLZER over Gardiner.... i get that randy likes the big body and the hits and blah blah blah but lets get real here... Gardiner is way better than Holzer.

Oh yah and other thing, why the fug is kessel on the ice when the other team pulls their goalie? Its not like kessel is going to win a battle for the puck or block a shot!!!

Angles? Ease up there Kurt. Its just a hockey forum discussion. This is where your anger and confusion don't do you any favours.

Im only speaking from a Toronto POV in this thread. When it comes to the Leafs, Hemsky has little to no value. Maybe not even a roster spot if the Leafs forwards are all healthy. A battle between him, Kulemin and Mac. And right now, he doesn't get the egde unless he can play solid D like Kulemin.

He wont bring much value, and if you want value in return, try trading some value. True enough to suggest we dont know what his value really is, but stop trying to force him onto teams/fans that don't have interest and see no value in him. Fair?

You mean the fans that say

Galchenyuk for Stamkos

or Subban for Karlsson

those fans? I don't want that, save me!!!!

- LeafMan

um, did you see the proposal where the Leafs give up UFAs/crap contracts and general mediocrrity for Berglund and Stewart? the stupidity virus affects both fan bases equally.

That's how the Phaneuf deal was made...it's a model they are trying to emulate.

Interested to see how this plays out. RC likes his sticks pointed a particular way. So Gardiner being LH would have to replace Phaneuf, Gunnar, or Fraser ...or Phaneuf gets bumped back to the right side.

He sure does. His initial blogs might get 30-40 hits for a dry rah-rah Oilers type writing. Now he gets 3-400 typically. See a connection? I just think its hilarious people are still heckling him about the Stanley Cup one when he admitted within the blog itself that he was trolling for hits.

Way to talk hockey. Thanks for the troll and hypocrisy.

That said, and as your post demonstrates, its a double edged sword, and my horse is (frank)ing awesome. Stop looking at it.

Hemsky doesn't fit into our top 6 either. In fact he fits better in Edmontons top 6 than Toronto's.

No need to trade buyout candidates.

Liles, Komi and Hemsky are not part of this teams future.

- systemtool

I'm only suggesting it because it may make sense if others (read MacArthur perhaps) forwards are moved out.

Salary commitment to Hemsky marginally different to that of Komisarek, same duration.

I would rather keep Mac, and just buy out Komi.

I cant see the Leafs being sellers unless they fall out of contention.

I wasnt. I was talking, in general, more to the people who suggest he'll garner a 4th/3rd. Im not sure where you think I was trying to force him on anyone.

I read the blog I don't remember him ever saying he was trolling for hits in the blog. We know he was but I don't remember him coming out and saying it. He s entertaining but some of the stuff even for trolling purposes is stupid.

don't throw that "stupidity"commentary around... the "suggestion" was made in response to an earlier... which you obviously didn't read because you have your head up you ... nevermind.
