Also luke schen does as much as shultz only real difference is simmonds more physical them hemsky but less talented and brayden schenn is an upgrade or belanger but not on faceoffs

Edmonton takes on over 17 mil in salary here something philly has none of. Also briere us a buyout candatate. Philly gets 4 mil cap space and all contracts set to expire after next year. I dont see how they can fit in resign of guys next year like giroux read timonen etc

Heres some food for thought haha Larry Brooks of the New York Post reports that Chicago Blackhawks could use the amnesty buyout on forward Marian Hossa, despite having a contract that expires after the 2020-21 season.

According to Brooks, Hossa, who signed a back diving contract, could cost the club between $4.6M to $9.2M per year against the salary cap should he retire before 42, when his contract expires. Serves them right for signing him to that. What makes things funnier is the rangers have more contracts like this.

It's not even the captaincy. We don't have too many guys that are willing to play 100% every night, that are good in their own end and are willing to change their role for the better of the team.

It will be tough to fit Horcoff in here during the 14-15 season, but at 3mil in real dollars I'm sure the Isles could use him and his 5.5mil cap hit to get to the floor.
