he really does think this.
its always; "another 18 year old kid in the lineup is gonna be great. or klefbom's gonna step in and turn around the franchise in his rookie year. we need to trade this veteran for insert unproven big named propect here. and the key is another lottery pick" etc etc etc
yaks is lost and ineffective way more than he is dominant. that line played well early, but pushing him back after the second period when he went quiet made sense. - hugefemale dog77
i concur. he also figures that Hemsky is expendable because Yakupov is around now, totally ignoring the fact that I don't think Yakupov even knows our goalie's name since he never bothers to come near his own blueline.
cloutier attacks management for not doing anything but all he wants is a team full of sexy rookies, regardless of their inexperience. then when they do run a team of rookies, he rips into them for losing (which should be expected)
meh, wait another week and cloutier will write (another) article listing who is 'untouchable' and who is 'tradeable.' riveting stuff. |

that being said im flatered to be told to suck it. no bad blood from me i enjoy talking poop, to about .000000000129% of the planet. besides for the most part about 20 people here actually see it as it is, the rest are like garbage goals... you just dont want to see them - munky123
actually I would like to see the oil get a lot more garbage goals. Means they were actually shooting the (frank)ing puck and taking it to the net for a change |

No way someone of that age would have had a gay best man at his wedding. Wait, I get it, he is the gay best man and just writing from the POV of the groom as a cover up. Well done. |

Pretty much. We don't learn though. Even once we get those garbage goals it takes very little time and it's back to old tricks.
The Oilers brass should get all 376 goals Smyth scored and show them to the team every time they get out shot. |

Best way for you to decide who is gayer between the two of you is to meet up and 69. Whoever swallows wins. Settled. |

Ha ha! I respond every chance I get to those who is "untouchable" homer blogs he spews out. Because apparently not one of the top prospects or top 6 are going to be available as well as any top picks should the Oilers organization pursue addition by subtraction via trade to improve their team.
Clouts is a homer in the classic sense of the word. He does write some entertaining blogs nonetheless... |

The game they played in minny last weekend should have showed em that, but seems it is just in one ear and out the other like with stupid teenagers these days or when one of my ex girlfriends was talking to me about never listening to her, i dunno what she was saying, i wasnt really paying attention to em. |

You may need to have another look at the definition of the word, or just read an esplen blog if ya wanna see what a homer actually is. |

looking at the free agent list and not alot there that makes sense. clowe or clarkson. even morrow
the defence list is brutal. streit could help. ive heard regehrs name tossed around a few times and if he was super cheap i suppose it wouldnt hurt, but hes very ordinary nowadays.
tambs is gonna have to improve this team through trades. |

Dude, get over horcoff, theres nothing wrong with him, he comes back scores a goal gets in a few scrums and we win the game. There's nothing wrong with him, but there might be something wrong with your brain if you can't see that. But i'll agree with this much, if we need cap space next year he'll be the first to go and it won't be because the oilers don't like him it'll be because they won't be able to make upgrades and other needed moves with his contract. I'll also agree that we need to give the C to Hall soonest. He's what drives this team now he's the guy that goes out and puts 120% out there every night and he hates to lose. It's his team now. |

There is a major difference, esplen basically is blinded by everything canucks and they can do no wrong, IE-hansen hit on hossa,
at least clouts will bash his own team when they do stupid things and call them out on em. Clout's is a homer in the sense he does not know a whole lot about hockey and writes some pretty fantastical things, but at least when someone (frank)s up, like halls knee on clutter(frank), he doesn't defend him and suggest there was nothing wrong with it. |

As an opposing team fan, I agree with this. It's certainly not Horcoffs fault the Edmonton organization offered up a kings ransom of a contract to him and it's not like the guy can't still play. Sure he's not the player he was in his prime but he's still able to be a solid contributor in the lineup. I also agree that Hall deserves the "C" and would be surprised to see anyone else wearing it come next season... |

Thats exactly it. Think of clout's as an entertainer, like a clown or a court jester or like a chris farley or a john candy and he suddenly doesn't seem like such a bad guy. |

I do enjoy reading his blogs. I just think it's fun to poke fun at him. He's an easy target but at least he'll respond. Esplen likes to try and get people who push back on him banned. |

Yeah I read some crap the other day about him posting sexist crap in the forums and one of his posters called him out on it. I think the dude who called him out was banned for 10 years and Esplen got HB to send hired goons to his house to break his fingers so he won't be able to type anything on any site. True story. |
