Doubtful, no one is stupid enough to try and prevent our largest export at the moment.

He may put pressure on the Alberta governemnt to try and force oil companies to increase their safty protocols and up their rehab of the land afterwards and thats' not a bad thing.

Sucks for Blake, but with the injury he had he is better off the ice in my opinion. Plus, he would probably have been a fringe player all his career. He can still have a career in hockey doing something else.
