I did have class the following day until 8pm. Not a fan of missing 3 classes.

This won't mean anything, but there's lots of time to make up classes.

Any chance Habs can get Morrow? How much would this cost?

- AGalchenyuk27

He can't Bingo. The NCAA loophole is after their 3rd year. For Kristo, that was last Summer. Bennett could sniff on the habs à la Schultz this year, since he's a 3rd year NCAA player, but it won't happen.

I don't see the point, really. I'm not even sure I'd give up a 3rd rounder for him considering how the team's going. Who would he replace on the lineup?

You think Morrow would accept a 4th line role?

Besides, the one who should be replaced on the 4th line is Armstrong, (frank) he's useless.

So.... Nygren won the title for best defenseman in the SEL, not bad.

http://blogues.lapresse.c...our-le-ch-cache-en-suede/

I never said he had to play on the 4th line.

I said he'd replace Moen in the lineup.

sigh

It doesn't matter where Moen currently plays. If the goal is to get better, the idea is to have more depth in the top 9. Not to replace a 4th line guy by a 4th line guy.

What if adding depth prevents Galchenyuk from playing 12+ minutes per game?

First off, Perry is not a center.

Secondly, that's a totally different debate.

Let's say the Habs trade for Morrow. What happens when Bourque comes back? Who do you put on the 4th line? Morrow? doubt the guy will accept such a role. Healthy, the team has plenty enough of depth. Hell, even without Bourque and Diaz the team is doing more than fine.

We'll have a much better idea of this team by the end of the month. I'm not sold that they are as good as their record.

Very few are IMO, everyone's just waiting for them to fall apart. The press is being careful not to go crazy like they did when they ended first under Carbonneau. They don't want to look like fools again.

Saying the team has depth is not saying they are contenders, because I don't think the Habs are contenders just yet, and I don't think adding a rental can solve that.

Considering where they are coming from, it's hard to be sold.
