it was one of the dumbest moves in NHL history.

What about the fact his skates and ass-end hit the tender before he attempts a shot.? For the shooters sake I hope he got the OK from MacLean, before attempting this cheesey, all-star game attention -grabber.

Maybe, but when the deal is being made in the context of a salary move for Buffalo, I fail to see why anyone would throw in a 1st round pick.
