Hey, it was legal, it was entertaining, it did not injure anyone and it almost resulted in a goal. I do not see what the fuss is all about, or why you're so concerned about getting your panties in a bunch.

...While Neil's hit on Kelly was a hockey play.

k I like entertainment too but thinking like a businessperson I see it as a low percentage chance to get a win and it cost them a point which may cost them a po spot and millions in revenue for at least 2 home po games.

Why would the coach send him out there then?

The coach knew he scored that way in the AHL, and told the guy to go give it a shot.

1. It's not like he lost the puck at the blue line or shot 6 feet off the net. It was a good attempt, a better one than 50% of other attempts that consist in shooting on the goalie's chest. You're talking like if he had 0% chance of scoring.

2. You would have whined anyway even if he had scored, as you probably thought Bouchard's spino-rama and Omark's... thing were a lack of respect.

3. You watch hockey like a business person. I reckon you hate having fun.

he is 1/3 in shootouts this season. Wonder if he told Maclean he was gonna do that version or a normal shot?

He did bump into the tender, so that should had reduced his 1% chance of scoring to a 0

Exactly Oily, I think Mr. Potatohead knew he was going to do that move.

Even if he scores, it didn't guarantee a win, Boston had another shot and ended it.

I hope he knew or I would bench him for rest of the (frank)ing season.

He had scored 1/2 normal way..
