I don't mind that he tried it, I just find it very.... peewee.

It's the type of stuff my kids do when they play for fun at the local rink.

Meh.

(frank)ing complete and utter joke. Worse than saying Gauthier should have his name on the Cup after we win it this season and the team roster is identical to last season.

Thank GOD we have a competent GM in Nonis and none of you guys are running things. Some of you got half the team traded and nothing suggested coming back. goal tending needs to be better but might come with more time. Defense are playing well and a good cap hit and will be better when lyles is moved and komi bought out/ moved. These guys arn't horrible but just don't fit into the leafs future as we are loaded with prospects on defense. Love the balanced attack at forward and we have good depth and although we have stars we lack a SUPER STAR. Corey perry in this aspect would help greatly provided he is willing to come to toronto. Don't know how much better clowe would make us right now. Hes slow and streaky. The leafs will make the playoffs. But the road to the cup goes through BOSTON and we might not be quite ready. We might be able to beat pittsburgh but alot would have to go right for us. Not afraid of anyone else. Exspecially Montreal, sure they are a good team with outstanding goaltending but thier size will be thier undueing in the playoffs. The leafs could be upgraded at centre with say a mike riberio as he might be a rental come trade deadline. I'm very happy with this team and if by chance they could land an impact player of perry's ilk and maybe 1 or 2 small tweaks we could be deadly.

- What the (frank) is that?

- They call it a slapshot.

-(frank)ing Bernard Geoffrion, you perfectly know you don't do that. Getting his stick in the air before shooting to the net? What has our world become? I hope he gets tuberculosis.

- ...

- (frank) off QP, this is a (frank)ing disgrace to the sport. What's next, celebrating a goal?

it was a terrible move on a butterfly goalie and waste of an attempt when they need every point they can get. Almost doesn't count. ffs

Well, in fact he almost scored. It was a better attempt than Seguin's, who tried to shoot through Lehner's chest.

This post is actually less homerish than 90% of the leafs thread. About half of this post makes sense.

But, he's exspecially not afraid of Montreal, despite the fact that they embarassed Toronto at home two weeks ago.
