nah it was just a simple thing. some of the guys were coming to watch the game then we decided to add the GSP fight and the wives and kids.

took a ham, slathered it in mustard, brown sugar, a bit of soja sauce, stuck it in the oven then roasted some potatoes, made some spinach gratin and a salad and we were all set.

there was plenty of wine yes but I'm not a wine drinker so I stuck to beer and scotch.

you just have to check on it every 20-03 minutes to make sure to baste it a bit and add a little water in the pan if the sauce it evaporating.

one of my good friends invites people over for dinner quite often because he's too cheap to go out. i usually have to bring my own booze. and food. he cooks it on the bbq for me at least. though last time i went over there i cooked dinner for everyone. his wife prepared the salad though. i tend to turn his invitations down more often than not.
