ya too hot to get stove or oven on in summer so I Q all the time. Sausages or hotdogs and burgers, shish kebab, steak, chicken, pork whatever and corn and taters.
- AGalchenyuk27

When it's hot like that I cut back on meat, even skip it now and then. I'll still use the slow cooker during the summer. Also, it doesn't get that hot out here.

Just saw Gionta has a full NTC

Who am I kidding, no team would trade for him...

what's hot in New Brunswick? 17? 18?
- scotch_tape

last summer was nice 22-25 but pieville gets 30 range often. I'm about 5 min from Bay of Fundy but just away from fog.

He scores the odd garbage goal.

He doesn't deserve the PP time he gets.

hi contract has one season remaining on it. so it's not a big deal. coincides nicely with PK. also, you don't trade your captain when you're a top-3 team in your conference.

Word going around is Vancouver in '14 what have you heard?

BC place? They'd need an option to close the roof in case of rain or warm weather during the day. late afternoon would be best.

And named a guy with questionable leadership skills as their captain because he's their best and highest paid player...

how has that turned out for them?

Remember when people argued Ovechkin or Crosby?

I'll say it again, when it's all said and done, I think Crosby will be viewed as even better than Gretzky...

not sure about that. they're such different players playing at different times that it's hard to compare.

The simple question is this: Does Gretky score 1.9 pts/gm in today's NHL?

And the follow up question is: could Crosby improve by 0.5 pt/gm in the 80's NHL...

Interesting. Ottawa is best suited IMO, you mostly only have to worry about snow.

Buddy of mine swears Crosby is way better than Gretzky ever was. Different era and better training now but he is very good.

I would say more complete...probably better...not WAY better...

I just really think people aren't noticing just how special he (Crosby) is as a player...

I don't know about Gretzky scoring 1.9 pt/gm in today's NHL...checkers are much better hockey players today than in the 80's...I think playing in today's NHL Gretzky's comparable would be Patrick Kane (with an edge to Gretzky being better)...

Gretzky brought new ideas to the game and revolutionized it. He'd still be the only guy operating out of his "kitchen" and people still wouldn't be able to stop him. You'd have to figure with today's training he'd be stronger and faster.

But the gap would be narrowed...

Anyway, what Gretzky did was amazing...and quite frankly I know it's a tough argument to make, but I just think that Crosby's game would work in any era...as to Gretzky, no way he survives the 50's, 60's or 70's...thrives in the 80's and early 90's....still one of the bests in the late 90's...but I don't see him being as dominant as he was in the 2000's and beyond...
