Stats are good, 4 of his wins are against non-playoffs team though. I prefer Schneider, better technically and a bigger body.

Same point applies. LA was just one suggestion as to where to look for a goalie

Oh well (frank) different times. At least you got the CBC's best remaining broadcaster doing your games, even if it's 15 years late.
- golfingsince

I hear him call a game now, and i cringe, i do. The guy was one of the best ever in his day, sadly that day is about 20 years, at least, behind him. An entire generation of hockey fans gets to witness a great broadcaster at the worst time of his career, and for those, who didn't see him call the game in his day, they see a horrible called game by an old man who cannot keep up to the play, and not get the players on the ice right, the call right, and sometimes even the game itself right. when he starts calling games that happened 20 years ago during a live broadcast, it's an issue. Put the poor guy out to pasture and find a suitable replacement. I don't believe Jim "Great save Luongo!!!" Hughson is the answer either...

All i'm saying is Schneider looks to me as a much better option for a starting job *cough* *cough* *philadelphia*

Mike Smith will be a hot commodity this summer.

I enjoy a nice BBQ one but very rarely order 1 out @ a restaurant and don't cook them on stove or broil in oven.

I liked Hughson back in his TSN ( great save Cheveldae! )days, and as a baseball announcer. He then became Canucks regional and then national. Now he mostly does Leaf games I think.

Of all the wooden heads out there, I'd still rather listen to him than any of them, to this day.
