So much you can do with steak. IMO the better the cut the less work it needs.

No question. Rib steak needs very little help. Sirloin/strip/even a Tbone can use a marinade

Lightly with MTL steack spice, little garlic powder.

Budddy finishes them with some melted butter, it tastes ok, but I'm not into that.

I leave mine out as well. I had a few late in Dec. weather was still good. Had our 1st of this season last Sat. Just did up some breasts and burgers
