no...time zones...sort of makes sense...but I don't really like this new alignment.

Of course Howard and Dan don't care about my opinion...and they will tell us shortly.

Makes sense...Mostly. Seeing Datsyuk and Zetterberg more often pleases me a lot, and both Florida teams will see their attendance rise for a couple more games.

I just don't like seeing 16 teams on one side and 14 on the other.

bunch of idiots...

and for playoffs, if they want to eliminate the "imbalance" just go with the 4 division winners and fill the other spots with wildcards...(12 best teams remaining)...and seed them accordingly.. 1 vs 16 etc...ok so we'll lose some of the rivalries and stuff...but at least we'll get the more deserving teams in the playoffs.

I think the two best teams of the division will make the playoffs, and the 8 places remaining will be wildcards, but I could be wrong.
