What tells you that Tinordi, Beaulieu, Pateryn, St-denis weren't told "We'll all give you a 3 game tryout with the big club. Be ready." ?

What does it matter? It's only 3 games...

If that's the case then, I could accept it. But I don't think Therrien will keep him up for a long period of time if he plays him like he played Pateryn.

It was more in the sense that if Tinordi plays well they WON'T send him back to the AHL...it's pretty clear that's what the habs want/need a physical D...

so if Tinordi does well, who are they moving? (trade)

Is there a rush on these things? Start him out slow and see just how ready he is to adjust to the NHL. If he wows then increase the time etc.

I don't mean to rush him, but they said that when they call up players, it's to play them in roles that they want them to play eventually. It's the same thing in Hamilton, they use players in their potentially NHL role.

I would have been against Galchenyuk staying if he would be playing 4th line minutes. It's the same thing for Tinordi, if he plays less than 10 minutes, I'll be disappointed by the management.

He would have to do VERY good to push a D out of the top6. Diaz is a keeper IMO, so is Emelin, Gorges, Subban and Markov, so I only see Bouillon, but that would be very surprising, given how he has been playing this season. I think once Diaz comes back, they'll send Tinordi back down.
