Well, the problem is, you want him up instead of another guy who WAS drafted. If you use the other guy's draft position as evidence for why he isn't good, then a guy who wasn't drafted AT ALL, can't be a better choice.

I used the round he was drafted in, and the number of years it took him to turn pro to show you that, even though he's a guy that could make the NHL one day, he can't be compared to Tinordi who turned pro two years after his draft. They are not in the same category.

The reason why I give the edge to St-Denis have been mentionned in my previous post, but also, St-Denis looked better than Pateryn did, in my own opinion. You can believe what ever you want my friend.

Howard, the rank at which a player is chosen usually gives you a good idea of what kind of player he is, but it doesn't give you the whole story. I base my opinion on what I've seen them do on the ice, first and foremost.
