Eager is under contract next year as well. And I see him as a loose canon that can cost you games at any given moment because, well, he's not particularly bright.

Habs need some energy from their 4th line. Armstrong and Moen are acting like 2 vets that feel they deserve to be in the top 9 and don't want to crash and bang anymore

I'm fairly certain he'll sign. He could even jump right into the Habs' lineup, given there is a roser spot, or he could provide offense to the Dogs' who deeply need help.
