Never heard about him to be honest, but hopefully he plays well in the AHL.

I had never heard of him either. Seems like a good hockey player though. Impressive numbers at the college level.

Very respectable college numbers. Used on both special teams, and if I'm not mistaken was the team's captain for at least part of the season.

Nothing jumps out in any one area, but he's solid in nearly every aspect.

Don't think he'll really challenge for a RSD spot out of camp next year, but IMO he's got as good a chance for that spot as any other current Canuck prospect.

Wilson, Lynch, Harvin, Rice, Tate, Miller.
Add to that the best defence in the league getting another year of maturity. Super Bowl.

... left me hangin' on the "HAWKS!!!"

But HeLLLz to the motherfukkin' yeah I've never been so in love with a franchise from top to bottom... Schneider is a (frank)ing genius and Pete Carroll's coaching style/philosophy is brilliant.

I heard Rice might get cut? Always thought he was overrated anyways. Harvin is a top 5 WR in the NFL right now IMO and I think he's only 24/25 so that's a sick trade for the Hawks. Plus the dude is a beast on returns.

Enjoy Percy! I don't agree with the trade, but the Vikes have a first and seventh round pick coming back as well as a mid round pick in the 2014 draft.

Hard to like the trade as Vikes fan, but obviously there were some things going on behind the scenes that would lead an organization to trade a uniquely dynamic player like Harvin.

Rumor around the Minne media for the last season or so is that Harvin is a Randy Moss in the making. I'm sure he'll be fine in Seattle for the first season or so, but he'll most likely become the mal-content he became here at some point.

Other knocks on Harvin; he's supposedly looking for Mega-tron type money and that's crazy for a slot receiver. He's hurt quite often and he uses his migrane headaches as an excuse to miss practices/games.

Don't get me wrong, he's an incredible player/athlete and he'll be sorely missed by Minnesota fans, but it sounds to me like the Vikings organization is literally ridding themselves of the "Harvin headache".

Rice isn't overrated. He's underutilized by a passing game that targeted NONE of their options enough... Harvin won't play out wide for us... He'll be another thing for the opposition D to worry about @ the LOS (screens/slants etc) while Rice & Tate are opened up for 1 on 1 coverage.

Take money back on a Lou trade and use the buyout on the incoming player. Save millions....

Well I guess I should have clarified, I'm taking into account his number of good seasons, health, contract and consistency. IMO He's not a good #1 WR for a team that wants a decent passing offense. Harvin is a huge upgrade, he lines up all over the place(mainly slot), basically a much more physically version of Welker plus he lines up as an RB and is great on returns. Great trade by Seattle.

I see the Niners responded by getting Boldin for a 6th, but he's not even close to Harvin.

Boldin is a completely different type of receiver than Harvin. Harvin is definitely more dynamic, but he can't line up against some of the leagues top corner backs mostly because he lacks the height. He's a bionic version of a Wes Welker type player. He'll definitely change the the way defenses scheme against Seattle with out a doubt.

Especially considering Krapernick only throws to wide open reads... Good luck to Boldin getting open at this stage of his career. As overrated and now overpaid as Flacco is, at least he's capable of throwing his receivers open. Krapernick & Boldin will not work out.

I hope his aspirations of a contract like AP's doesn't hurt Seattles Locker room... This from a Vikings fan...... He has amazing skills but has been hurt a lot and has a head like TO's.

C'mon guys, don't throw those molotovs just yet, remember what we heard in Augello's thread six million times before the season: Luongo = playoffs, guaranteed. If he can do that for a crap team like the Loafs, you guys are still on lock for a long playoff run.

Meh, this team overachieved in 10/11 and now the expectations are too high, with management believing in their own hype. If they go on a run I expect a second round exit to an actual good team, I still don't see any other NW team taking the division this year.

A big no thanks to Lindy, didn't he just get FIRED? I say they hire Tony Robbins or some crap like that, get these guys motivated to play!

The difference is that consistent goal tending is what the Leafs have been missing since what Belfour? Looks like Reimer/Scrivins are delivering so far this year, but if they miss the playoffs again because of shaky puck stopping then Mike in Buffalo was right.

Goal tending hasn't been the Canucks problem, scoring goals has, not to mention some questionable coaching decisions.

Yeah, you screwed up on Sunday, you had three or four players on the bench, and I don't think Crawford counted against your stats for Sunday. I had Hiller and Backstrom starting on Sunday and I didn't get credit for either of their wins or 2.0 GAA or S%.

The Yahoo total was 7-2-1 in your favour, it should have been closer than that though.
