I'm not sure if I'd call that a "shout out", but if you're happy, I'm happy.

Problem with trying to move Hemsky for defensive help is, the Oilers have plenty of 5/6 guys. I don't know if Hemsky brings you a 1/2 guy or even a 3/4 guy. Price point of decent defensemen is higher than forwards.

I'd package a pick with Hemsky to get the top 4 or top 2 player we need. If that pick is our 1st rounder, perhaps the ship has sailed to trade that package at least until after the lottery (I.E. until we're sure it's not a top pick). that might be preferable for other teams though, as they'd pay less salary and take the Hemmer cap hit on their payroll for one year only.

Tavares and Hall have nearly identical ppg through their first 2 years in the NHL. Nuge had a much higher ppg in his rookie year. Vets like Horcoff and Smyth are probably good mentors for these kids because they have had to work for what they have got. I do agree mgmt needs to be fixed, but your "successful first overall argument" is complete garbage spewed by jealousy or stupidity.

Definitely nothing to be jealous of, but you can't deny the FACTS he stated regarding Tavares, Hall, and RNH.
