guys take you non- hockey discussion to an email. we dont care.
especially one about the SEAHAWKS.
lets run a poll here. Does a bridgeport guy get a call up or does super star Eric Boulton get a roster spot again.
Even better, its KEITH AUCOIN stink up the ice time. - Spartiarti
Snow is going to make a move...first a callup from Bridgeport...I think it's between Nino, Nelson, Persson or Sundstrom... |

Sorry Ses111. I was typing my post when you posted this.
You made an excellent point is about 100 less words! - SCLI
No problem SCLI. Your post was excellent. Another factor is Snow will probably want to move Frans ahead of some of these prospects as Frans was not a Snow pick. |

I am all for trading anyone of those guys minus Strome if it means a nice return. I say we start trading some prospects. We have plenty - mighty13duck
Besides the fact that they won't all pan out. It's a calculated risk. After this year's top five pick its time to start making moves. Actually it was time a while ago but better late then never. |

I don't know if that's going to make much of a difference? Look at okposo who has the longer leash out of everyone on the team. Amac. neither were snow picks. Frans is a good third line center. He's not being utilized properly like half our team. I'd love for all these kids to work out but the return we are going to get for Frans is going to be minimal I feel at this point. I see teams being more interested in okposo, nabby, vis, street, maybe even Boyes bcs of his points even though he sucks? I'm getting the expression that snow is throwing on the towel for this season so we should be seeing some movement and some call ups in the not too distant future. I know we are only out by a few points but btn games play and the team we have barring some kind of shake up we are a lottery team again. Competing for the Stanley cup. |

It probably will not make a difference. I'm not sure I agree about the return being minimal for Frans especially the way many of the players and many on the board feel about him. I also get the sense Snow is about ready to throw in the towel. Jack still being coach is a good example of that. I have no problem trading any of the guys you mentioned. |

What would you consider a good return for Frans? |

Hopefully a top 4 dman. Most likely a 3 or 4. I'm sure Isles would have to add more than Frans.

I might make this move. This is the type of move we may need to make for Bailey and KO . Struggling player for struggling player. |

agreed, a change of scenery for players like that could only benefit the teams & players
plus i feel Burmistrov has been used improperly, just like Bailey... |

I'm surprised we do not see more of these types of moves. Struggling young player for struggling young player is fair. |

Anybody know anything about Bogosian? I remember he was struggling. Would Okposo and Bailey for Burmistrov and Bogosian work? |

I think GM's feel that they would eventually break thru, and the risk of them reaching their potential some where else, would only get the GM fired |

Good point. GM's seem to be more careful than ever. I would like to see what KO and Bailey could do with a real coach but both may be moved before a real coach is hired. |

How about see what the Jets want for Wheeler? |

I know you all going to bust on me but why not get Ryan Smyth back from the Oilers? He would be great in the locker room and you could put him on the off wing with Tavares or start him on the second line... - kear20
Lol that's what EDM thought too... The guy is useless. |
