I would like to point out that I pointed to both your point and UIF's point in agreement but made the point that Snow would point to the end of the season at which point he'd make a change....wait...what?

I beleive this is what goes on behind close doors at Islander meetings

Well that's yet another example of Snow being a bad GM.
- Cptmjl

This is the mantra I think they're operating under...slow and steady. Above all, they want to avoid doing anything without being 100% positive 'it's time'. We know something has to be done with Jack, but I'm guessing they're very content to let the season play out and go from there.

I can't help but wonder what Ruff would actually say if they approached him today and offered him the job. Would he take it? Or would he be content to wait and see whether a team like Philly or whoever are looking for a coach at seasons end.

Kear show some compassion. The Isles worked very hard already picking up guys this year. They need a rest before the draft.

I know you all going to bust on me but why not get Ryan Smyth back from the Oilers? He would be great in the locker room and you could put him on the off wing with Tavares or start him on the second line...

The Seahawks have sick talent. That is a solid team from top to bottom. I hope this new Jet GM learned something over there.

The Seahawks offensive roster is starting to look like the 2009 Minnesota Vikings. Sidney Rice, Tavares Jackson, Percy Harvin...wtf?

* and yes I'm aware Russel Wilson is the QB there. He was my sleeper fantasy pick last year!

Lol...I was a second too slow on the edit....Yes. I drafted Wilson in the 15th round of my fantasy draft last year. Just mentioning how many old' Vikes are there.

snow disappears into the shadows when they lose bad or during a losing streak
- kasperrko

you mean the shadows within the shadows. Surprised he doesn't do in-game interviews via remote satellite -- could blame a bad feed for not answering questions entirely. He quotes from GM'ing For Dummies and won't stick his neck out for any deal that might be controversial or impactful because he doesn't know WTF he's doing. He tells Charles, "Everything is OK. This is a rebuild. It takes time. We have the pieces necessary to trade for that player(s) who will take us to the next level. Blah, Blah, Blah."

It is a keeper league. I have some choices to make since I also have Philip Rivers and Kapernick. I'm a Charges fan so it's tough to unload Rivers.

Unreal...the man refuses to name names on his "passengers" quote for how long...and the first player he throws under the bus is Grabner??? Please get rid of this coach. If you do nothing else this season, Garth, get this guy out from behind the bench.
- UIF

That's pretty rich, making a comment about passengers on the team. How about discussing the passenger behind the bench? You know, the guy who stands there, looking like he's holding his breath the whole game? Ill-fitting wardrobe? Can't make line combos or bench the team's worst players? HOW ABOUT THAT GUY????

Ruff would coach his son's spring house league pee wee team before joining the Isles.

Nah...if the guy had an offensive line that didn't represent an open gate, he'd by top 5 in league numbers. His blindside hasn't been protected for 3 years now. Plus Ryan Matthews is a BUST!
