Per Staple:
"Capuano singled out Grabner for a soft playe before the Pens 1st goal because he failed to clear the puck and then watched Kunitz fly past him to start the play"
Gee, I've seen Streit do that multiple times this year. Okposo watched Phaneuf skate right around him and score a game winner yet Cappy has never singled those guys out. In those cases we get the generic "Guys battle level isn't good enough, they've got to pick it up".
Despite Grabner's excellent play over the last couple of weeks, we've seen his playing time decrease to under 10 minutes per game and then Cappy singles him out to the media? I'm starting to wonder if we have a personal conflict between player and coach? - keaner17[/quote]

The fact that he singled him out when he's been one of our best players says it all. The guy NEVER singles someone outn and he picks Grabner of all people? What about AMAC whose play has been abysml, how about Hamonic? How about Boyes bcs the guy is a POS? There is something seriously wrong with this club and it's coach. |

Did you happen to see any Isles players there yesterday? They seemed pretty mellow during the game. - ses111
Not a care in the world. |

Maybe Grabner told him to go make me a slice? |

I honestly believe if this were a full season, Cappy would likely be dismissed about now. Unfortunately, Snow and company will likely not feel compelled to make a coaching change with only 22 games left in the season. We've all gone over how Capuano is clearly not a capable NHL coach as evident by is oddball lineup choices and line match ups. He also seems incapable of motivating his team and has to fall back on more respected personalities like Weight to tear into them. He's clearly just keeping the seat warm for Weight at this point which is why with a 3 day layoff, this would seem like the perfect time to can him. I think the lack of movement at the coaching position may very well signify exactly what we should expect at the trade deadline...nada. - keaner17
Why not? It's a 48 game season. |

Trust me they notice what is going on. I am telling you if this team was winning game in and game out free agents would have no problem playing here at all. I am sick of hearing about the arena. Winning solves everything. - kasperrko
That is exactly the problem. Players from around the leagues see the Wang/Snow circus and want nothing to do with this team. |

I rather us not get a new coach now. If we did it would be Weight for the rest of the year and then next year. Lets start fresh next year with a real coach. - mighty13duck
You're just going to start fresh with Weight next year |

That was my point, if it were an 82 game season and we were midway through, I think Cappy might be gone, but they're likely more inclined to make no changes until the offseason with a shortened season |

That's my point, it's just past the midway point can him. Turn the tide, do something. Don't throw in the towel even though the out come is probable. Should've been done last year. Show the fans and the players not just on this team but from around the league you give a shat about winning. Every day that clown is behind the bench just cements the fact even more that Snow/Wang don't care about winning. Every single player anywhere see's that, this just furthers that notion. |

Great here comes another Wishart pickup. - ses111
How about if Snow showed some balls and went after Ryan Clowe. The Leafs blogger mentioned they are looking for a physical forward and he was on the Leafs radar. Don't we need a physical forward? |

What are you talking about? That was a great trade, Roloson was'nt worth anything. We got great depth in Bridgeport thanks to that trade. Figured I'd beat everyone to the punch on the reply. Phew I'm glad I got that out of the way |

I wish they would, but I think they're going to give him the whole season. They want Jack to have every possible chance to succeed with this team. He's part of the New England Fraternity!

I would like to point out that I pointed to both your point and UIF's point in agreement but made the point that Snow would point to the end of the season at which point he'd make a change....wait...what? - keaner17

Your right Cptmjl. Let us also not forget how wrong Roloson was about the country club comments. |

We do not need Clowe we have Boyes for toughness on the first line. |

We don't need to address toughness. "Toughness is one of this teams strengths" Garf |
