As much as I love the offense from the JT line they are horrible on D. That Nielsen line is brutal. I never got all the Nielsen love anyway. Nabby should have been pulled no question.

i like nielsen...i'd like him a hell of a lot better if he was the third line center between ulstrom and grabner...

I dont get Jacks decsion like the rest of you. I mean he is getting harder and harder to watch behind the bench. that second line has to be the worse in teh NHL. Grabner who has been showing a lot of heart gets demoted and the fourth line who is out playing basicalliy everyone but JT gets no ice time. time to give up on the KO and Baileys of the world. Nielsen would be better on the third and fourth line and REasoner for Gods Sake at this point I rather see Aucoin.

Jack not pullin gNabby after the first period is ridiculous even though I dont think it would really help.

I would have to think KO and Bailey are getting showcased but who knows? I'm not sure what they can bring back at his point? With Strome and Nelson on the way soon and with Casey already on the team I'm not sure where Frans fits anymore. Hopefully he gets moved in a package for a dman. Jack is not worth even talking about.

With his skill level if he applied himself more no reason he should not be able to make a good 2nd line center. I do not think Frans has the passion needed which is why I'm not crazy about the guy.

Any other normal NHL owner would have fired Jack or better yet never offered him a contract. I mean granted they did get points in 5 straight games so they see that as he is awesome, but this guy does not know how to coach. I am hoping he wont be around next year as i think his contract is up

thats bullpoop...i'm sorry...passion has nothing to do with it..and that is a subjective assumption that you have no way of qualifing..he's a third line center..and thats ok...he is being asked to play out of his role with two other third liners.. third line center...top penalty killer and shootout specialist then you have great value out of frans...asking him to be a 55-60 point guy,,,no

I understand but still I look at it at the goalie point of view. I am sure Nabby was not happy, He is a veteran and well he left him in when Philadelphia ran them over too, I think if he pulled him after the first it will give him some rest and give Poulin some work. I know they were not going to win but for those two points alone he should have

Exactly when Nielsen played on teh third line a few years back he was doing great. Since they bumped him up he is out of position and therefore not doing well at all. He would be just perfect as a third liner

Brooklyn will be the key. If the team is going to play there next year we hopefully will see a very different offseason with new players and a new coach.

AFter the descions that Jack has been doing I think any coach is better. I know it wont make a difference who coaches this team but Jack is broke you need to fix the situation. Show the fans something. I think Weight would be better than Jack seems to understand the game more and has more fire in him. These guys dont need to babied they need someon tough, someone who will bench players to set an example some one to demote players when not playing and promote those who are. those examples alone can get a team going

i agree with you..its just with this management i don't know who is in control..i don't believe that jack has full control of his roster..i don't believe garth has the power to do anything especially open his wallet...i think everything trickles down from the puppet master charlie

The guy laughs when the team is losing and avoids contact. I can easily qualify.

Yeah you are right about that. You think Wang is telling him who to play and who not to?? I dont think Wang would even know how to address that.

Well than at least switch the lines around a little and he is the coach he can bench people or decrease there ice time during the game

no one avoids contact more than moulson...you never laughed during an islander loss?? sometimes that all you can do... i remeber we were playing a huge golf tourney in college and i had a tin cup moment..after putting 8 shots in the water i finally put one on the green...all i could do was laugh...didn't mean i didn't care but if i didn't laugh then i would have drowned my self in the atlantic ocean... and by no means would i be opposed to trading frans if the right deal was there..all i'm saying is i'm fine with him as the third line center..however with cizikas playing well maybe that becomes his role..who knows

that is the fustrating part about this. Wang is a business man and you would think he would want to do what is good for business but so far he has failed!

It's different when a fan is laughing. Moulson puts himself in traffic taking hits to score goals. I'm sorry but to me Frans should not be comfotable being a third line guy. He should push himself to be more same for KO and Bailey.

Like Nielsen but like someone else mentioned earlier, with Strome and Nelson coming, both possibly next season, he doesn't seem to fit anymore. Having said that, if you were to package him, Bailey and Okposo, what besides a bag of pucks could we realistically get back?

Ok, maybe TWO bags of pucks.

You would think Frans could bring back something decent otherwise he is not the player some think he is. I'm not sure what KO and Bailey can bring back. Maybe you have to move then for other young players that are struggling?

I am sure you can something back from them. I mean come on they have NHL experience maybe not the best in the world but there is some un tapped talent there I beleive. Frans would thrive on another team down on the third line. Bailey also has that ability. I see players swapped that I never heard of before and teams get players back. I am sure they can do something. Just that Garth dont know how to do that
