NBC trying to find the positives in Ovechkin's game right now. Trying everything to avoid saying that he's not playing at the level he should be. Well, here's a good thing he did. Now here's a bad thing or three he did, but he did play better at the end of the period. Sure he did, when they were on the PP and he had the puck on his stick. His play away from the puck is what is making him a one-dimensional player right now. Is this a growing trend in his game right now?
according to nhl.com cally got the nash goal - Mtlca66
Hell, he didn't even draw the penalty that led to the PP goal by Nash. That was McD. Cally drew the one that was nullified by the Boyle goal. Nice job NHL.com.
Edit: ESPN has it for Cally. Did we completely miss a tipped shot or something? I though it was a clean beat on Nash's one-timer.

Wawawewa... did you guys see that move by Boyle? Or was that Nash in a Boyle jersey? - aecliptic
Boyle can play that way all the time so when he doesn't for long stretches it's frustrating. If he does that for a full season he could get 12 - 15 goals and 30 - 35 points in a full schedule.
