yoo hoo...don't look now but the Ducks won again and are now 6 pts behind and have only 1 more loss in regulation.

so while the hwks have 3 days off followed by road gmes vs Jackets, Stars and Aves
the Ducks have road gmes vs Wild, Stars and Blues then home Sharks and Hawks next Wed.

oh...ohhh Jackets beat wings in BTB gmes and that's 4-0-1 for the season and have won 5 str. They get the nucks again before the Hwks.

You're not the only one who has noticed this. Game on the 20th against the Ducks will be a huge one...

Just off the plane and home safely from a great stay in Saskatchewan...6 games in 9 nights, including a barnburner in Saskatoon last night...Mem Cup host Blades were down 7-3 and rallied to win 8-7 in overtime. Amazing comeback.

As for the Hawks...disappointing start and result. The buddy i stayed with in Sask is a huge Oilers fan and i watched their last 3 games with him.... where they looked nutless and lifeless...so for us to lose to them like this is a real PHUCKING BUMMER.

0-2 now without the GLUE GUY. Get well FAST Sharpie !!!

And with Philcos astute observation and summation...I say good nite and once again its all Sharps fault for getting his shoulder seperated.

Ducks will pass the Hawks with relative ease. Hawks may hold onto 2nd seed, but should win division so will fall no further than 3rd.

Gone in first or second round if current roster left unchanged. The streak was a nice surprise, but this is largely the same club as last year. 2013 will be remembered for the lockout, shortened season, "the streak", and the Bruins winning the cup.

...but then again, I'm probably way off the mark like usual.

Man you are like my old man, Chicago sports will do that to ya I guess. He doesn't even watch any of it anymore! Can't bare it.... you should probably do the same and you will live a real long life!!!!

I still think there is more chance of the Ducks falling back than the Hawks, especially with the Perry situation. I actually hope they just keep him and lose him for nothing or next to nothing before the draft. They could get some really good pieces to help them now and future if they trade him now. I doubt they win Cup this year even with him

Shaw shouldn't be trying to fight Hall or rough him up at the faceoff in the first place.

Should have had Brown pulling the same move on Kane. If Kane would have dumped him you would think it was fine. Chicken sh!t move by shaw to go after a talented player, and he got dumped on his a!s so your chicken sh!t Shaw went after a guy just back fromwith a broken knuckle who can;t fight back. Chicken sh!t meathead Shaw should leave the talented players alone. Oilers should have went after Kane. Eye for eye. Reap what you sow. You can't handle it if it happened though.

They need another forward who can kill penalties and win draws on the PK, sooner or later.

Add, "finish a check" to that list too.

So who are your top 3 you figure the 'Hawks could actually land and who'd be going the other way?

Not going to waste my time with someone who thinks the Avs and Wild get in but not the Canucks.....you should've played along and said it was a joke....now I know you were serious

Ok don't waste your precious time just knock others

Have you seen the Canucks play the last 2 weeks?

It is not beyond the realm of possibilities that tha Canucks miss this year and that right now the AV's with OReilly .....great Goal Tending are a contender in the NW

Since this is a hawk blog we will agree to disagree

Seems like the Caps and Bolts would be likely trading partners: Beagle, Hendricks, Hall, Thompson

Steckel? And a banger who can skate well enough to finish. I agree that the 3rd line should be left alone. Doesn't seem that Bickel can keep up with Kane

Not knocking just thought the whole ranking thing was ridiculous.
