Flyers are beyond fragile. The game should rightfully have been about 6 - 1 after two, considering all their chances ... but once it got to 3 - 2 you could see the nervousness out there. I'm actually amazed they hung on for the win.

And Coots can't buy a goal this year. Whether it's lack of confidence or whatever, he's missed a good 6 or 7 prime chances over the past couple of weeks. Hopefully that evens out a bit over the remainder of the season.

i missed a good portion of the first period, and listened through the end of the 2nd on the radio, but what you're saying doesn't surprise me.

rough year for coots, but i'm not worried about him. he's going to be a tremendous player.

the boarding?
- Marc D

looked to me like a minor for boarding, which he got. maybe 2 more for interference since the puck was already back at the point.

stupid play by Schenn with time winding down.

Uh...they won the game last time I looked.

They have to win by 5 goals now for us to be satisfied?

They beat an awful team by one goal, in a game they should have won going away.

not sure, but it wouldn't surprise me. Lavy has a short fuse on him ...
but, of course, I'm sure Briere played about 53 minutes tonight.

until they can pull off a few wins in a row, and ... you know, get ABOVE .500, then I say yeah, they're gonna have to win by 5 goals over bad teams for me to be satisfied.

I don't think it's so much the score as it is how they bumbled around with this team for 60 minutes.

Columbus has won 5 straight. The Sabres are awful. The only reason they're not dead last is that Florida didn't get a point tonight.
