When the Flames released their new jerseys in 2003, they were branded KOHO, a CCM Subsidiary. When the new jerseys became the fastest selling Jersey at that time, CMM changed the branding to the parent company CCM.
If you see a Flames fan with a KOHO Jersey, they are not a bandwagon jumper, they bought the Jersey in 2003.
