Asked Capuano about Grabner's ice time: "At some point, guys do have to be rewarded for their work ethic but we're also going thru a stretch where we've played pretty well and I don't want to break too many things up' - per Staple
Um... Remember that line of Martin/Cizikas/McDonald?

Cappy is Snow's decision. It's not like coaches make what players make, it's a minimal investment. Wang was'nt like, "we have to ride it out with Cappy he's going to come around and our budget can't afford someone else". Capuano is Snow's decision, you can't blame everything on Wang. Well you can but anyone who does would be stupid for doing it.

its been Snows decision to hire them for AHL, but heard its Wang who hires them for NHL team... Snow has wanted his buddies to come here and coach

from what i've heard, is that Wang does not want to spend money on coaches, and that its been his decision to hire these guys to become NHL coaches, which is pretty pathetic
- Ur Not Me

I find it hard to believe that. I think they have inferior coaching so they are not questioned or challenged(Nolan/Laviolette). I do think CW & Garth are control freaks but to not spend a few hundred-K more to help your team would be the most financially irresponsible decision. I'm sure Garth IS operating within a strict budget and can only break the bank if someone (player) exceptional comes along. But those exceptional players want nothing to do with these clowns. Can't say I blame them.

The last thing Garth wants is a big name coach. I have a hard time believing Charles would not pay for a coach like Ruff if Snow wanted it.

next year lines JT Moulson Nino, Strome Nelson Grabner, Martin Nielson KO, Bailey Cizikas Ullstrom..... we now have the assets I say we start trading some of these guys. Get working on some bigger forwards and some defense
- mighty13duck

Agreed...if I was Snow my goal would be to bring in a RW and a defenseman by the trade deadline...then over the summer bring in another forward and defenseman...also possibly a goalie if Nabokov isn't signed...

Grubauer? Did I hear that right? Who the hell is he?

Tavares undressed Carlson, would have been a sweet goal.

every time they do this 'Top 10 plays of the month' segment I keep expecting them to say they could only find eight
