I love Lavy ... I think he's a great coach. But it sure seems that this team only sporadically buys into his system.

They're so freaking bipolar it's crazy ... no pun intended.

- FlyerGuy

Yup. In general, they've been pretty painful to watch, especially given their potential.

And if Lavy goes, I hope they send Briere with him.

okay, what's the feeling on the 2nd? Not sure I should waste my time watching but ... I think the Flyers get an early goal, but that only makes the Bruins mad.

6 - 1 after 2.

Gonna finish putting the lights away and put the Rubbermaid tubs back in the shed

Well homer had to figure out what he is gonna do. I still don't like the timmo signing for 6 mil. That will handicap the flyers next year
- bigmookalookie

I also dont like that move either but nothing we can do about it.

The Flyers are a mess right now defensively. The goaltender is starting to turn back into old form. The coach makes no adjustments. Just tired of it.

time well spent.

I might start randomly straightening the house so it looks like I actually cleaned stuff.

@broadstbull

Sources tell me Laviolette out by end of the game. Pitbull top contender for next coach.

They should hire Greg Ireland (Owen Sound) next Sunday, the 17th.

Just because it'd be cool.

Grossman looks hurt, he looks like he is having trouble pivoting on his right knee.

We may want to start packing the coach's bags now but the seeds to the current situation were sown in July. The GM didn't have a good strategy without Weber. Perhaps it was a conscious decision not to do anything and in the meantime get out from under some contracts, concentrate on 2013 picks and limp along while the young players get more experience. The next logical move is to be a seller at the deadline. I'm hoping that the brain trust are taking the long view with their plan.

The GM job isn't to get the players to player fundamental hockey at a level attributable to an NHL team. There are worse assembled teams doing better.

the Flyers are playing better here in the 2nd ... but it's only because the Bruins are bored.
