If you can get it .
Every team in the league will be looking at Perry Clarkson and Clowe . You probably could only afford 1 - VANTEL
then we take it... realistic i think perry stays.

Exactly. Tambi is just way too passive for me personally - mochoson
Me as well. Say what you will about Lowe but at least he would make deals and try to make things happen. It's honestly why I truly think Tambellini has the reigns, because nothing is happening asides from minor depth moves.
Im not an advocate of knee jerk reactions but watching quality players be had for cheap to other teams while we stand pat with a group that clearly isn't good enough makes me enraged. We're watching a storied franchise go from what we thought was the bottom to some level below it and it's absolutely inexcusable. I hope Katz is paying attention, because some of us have started tuning out. |

Eberle 30 teams would jump at .
Hall would have to be a sweet deal for the other team - VANTEL
Why? In precise terms. |

The Dubnyk and Gagner ones.
Could you drop the sarcasm? - aeberg
Gagner has always had average 2nd line production. He is, as of right now, in the Top 15 for centers.
Hemsky has always been a Top ppg player, only his injury situation as kept him down. He is about Top 30 in scoring for RW.
Both these guys are scoring at Top3 production this year. |

I think Perry is traded before TDL . They would need to pay him 8.25 M per also and the Ducks are not noted for having a high payroll. 16.5 Mil for two players is a lot. |

I put Hall with Ebs trade value wise. They both bring different, but important elements. |

Most fan bases overvalue their own players.
Hall is 6'1 and going to be payed 6 mil for the next 7 years.
Not that it matters what I think , but I don't classify 6,1 as a power forward. To me he is a good second line forward. He has 4 goals this year and to be playing on an offensive first minded team ,that is not good enough.
He is a decent second liner but that is just my opinion. |

That doesn't make any sense. Peca and Clark were power forwards and neither was over 6' or 200lbs. Hall has been our best player this year and is really starting to bring a grittier game. I put him at least on par with Ebs value wise. |

It is a matter of opinion.
I was with my brother last week (he is from Edm) and he said "Our young superstars" I asked him Who the fukk are superstars on the Oilers? There has not been enough history or results to classify anyone on the Oilers as a superstar since Gretzky Messier era.
I told him ,"Slow down their Sparky" ,but Oilers have some very good young players and prospects but no superstars. It comes down to how a fan views thier own team. I know Hall is well liked in the Edmonton community but outside of that his value drops alot. We view him as a good player only . |

Indeed, and ours clearly differ. I think you're not being realistic with him. Maybe some homers refer to them as "superstars" which they obviously are not yet, but the potential is clearly there. |

No one on the Oiler team is a superstar, they have some possibilities so far. I would be OK with some all stars. |

I will be truthful I have a problem putting the Sedins into the superstar category . I think the term gets thrown around way to much.
Gretz Hull Messier Howe Crosby Malkin Ovie Stamkos Richard Orr . That to me is a superstar.
Oates Sedins Mahovolich are very good playes but not top 3 |

Nor I. Losing again to a team that just has your number is one thing. getting waxed by a Nashville team coming in a slump that couldn't score goals is just pathetic.
I thought we hit rock bottom losing to Columbus. I was wrong. |
