I know that you guys would hate it, but I (and probably every other neutral hockey fan) would love to see a 1 vs 8 or 2 vs 7 matchup between Philly and Pittsburgh. The train wreck potential for another playoff series between these two is off the charts.
- MadCap2008

I hope not lol... Although, I hope last night will go a long way to teaching these guys that if they don't lose their heads, run around and take bad penalties, they can outplay the Flyers pretty badly.

They only did exactly what everyone here was asking....first period was frustrating. Bad penalties are killing this team. They have to get this feel.

It was almost better to have a major turnaround like within a game than to have an entire game like it. Goes more towards the learning factor.

Long gone man, I don't even think the Steelers have talked to him since the offseason started. He wants out and the Steelers don't want to pay him.

true.

At least I thought I was on my mental faculties. I proposed a Neal for D.Brown and J.Stoll. The return wasn't bad...

- Orpik44

haha at least you had brown coming back. i absolutely love neal, and think he is vital for this team. however, even though some of those penalties were very iffy, somebody still needs to smack him or something. even other than the mental errors, his game yesterday left much to be desired. everyone is entitled to an off game here and there, but if you are going to couple it with egregious mental errors you need to be sat down for a few shifts

Somehow I got everything twisted and was with Antonio Brown in my head

Mike Wallace can go but do we have any other good options available to replace him? Seems like the Plaxico Burress thing didn't work out.

You don't think Stoll would help this team on the 3rd line?
I'm a big fan of Dustin Brown so I'd probably do this deal, being drunk or not

Wallace is going to be waaaaaay overpaid by someone......probably Miami. I'm glad the Steelers aren't throwing a ton of cash his way.

Seems like everytime I watched him play this past season, he chocked and coughed up the ball. If we have other options go for it.

Their style of hockey would match well in Pittsburgh. We need grit and they'd bring that + scoring ability. But anyway, I was mad when I first proposed this trade. Let's forget about this non sense.

He dropped a lot of balls the last couple of years. Some were very easy catches. What I didn't like about Wallace is his desire to avoid any contact. He was horrible at making tough catches in traffic and if he made the catch, he couldn't hit the deck fast enough to avoid a hit. He's the reverse of Heinz Ward. Brown is fearless in traffic.....easily my favorite player at the moment.

Antonio Brown is our Kris Letang IMO. Fast and skilled

My favorite is Heath Miller, our Chris Kunitz

Is this guy a good option for WR: Steve Breaston?

Miller is up there with me too. I think they passed on Breaston at the moment. They brought him in and chose not to offer him a deal.....so did the Browns by the way. I think Breaston is looking for more money than the Steelers will pay. In the small sampling I've seen of him, I like him. Steelers are looking for bargains 'cause their cap issues.

Will Jerricho and Plaxico stay with us for next season?

Seems like you know more about football than hockey

Breaston is choosing to have surgery which I think is making teams stay away. We don't need him he's similar to what we have. I'd Prefer cotchery to him.

Just a huge fan of both teams. I used to be more of a football fan, but the changes to the NFL are seriously making that sport less fun to watch. Not to mention a lot of the players are so unlikable.

Plax is gone. I think Cotchery stays unless they find a better option.

Didn't mean to get on a football conversation.... Would rather talk about that great game last night...... ....and why Disco hates Despres.

I was at the Caps game last night and didn't have an opportunity to see the comments on the Pens blog last night - did it get pretty ugly in here when the Flyers were up 4-1 (i.e. was it "Fire Bylsma" time, etc) ?

I can only say one thing: you guys are VERY lucky to have not one, but 3 franchises in your city, 2 of them being 1st class. Since I live in Brazil, I'll probably never be able to watch a game live in CEC and Heinz Field (only maybe...I'll try to make it happen)

Talking about Chi? If you are, i think so too. Avs looked solid against them last game and will be even hungrier for the win tonight.
