That would sort of be ironic. Particularly if you were at the game on or around Easter. Better just go with angel white to avoid anyone giving you too much grief ...

Agree on the dman....Depth players both offense and defense could be held onto if on affordable contracts.

Next yr.being like no other.....It is known the cap ceiling will be lower than this year.

As far as the Ducks....It has nothing to do with Hawks...

But Murray is in a bind...He may may do what Nash. didn't do last yr and launch an upcoming UFA....if that happens the favorite who would be headed East would be Perry.

The Ducks probably could find the $$ but Perry seems like someone who will test free agency...Getzlaf not thought of in the same way.

He can't afford to lose another big name for nothing, a la Schultz.

BTW, when you guys buy me a sweater, I don't want any of those Chinese knockoffs with the funky numbers (that comprise about 50% or more of the sweaters you see at the UC now)

But instead of just "SAAD" on the back, we can make it like that NHL Custom Shop commercial. You know the one that has 'JImmy Loves' "The Oilers'...or the 'Peg 'We're back" jersey.

Instead we put "SAAD LOVER"...or "SAAD HYPE MACHINE"

Saad? I thought you guys were recommending a "Salad" jersey. I guess that would be with the number 13, then?

Random thought of the day . . .

This just popped into my head and is for our buddy Philco.
I envision Philco sounding like Sylvester the cat when he is swearing on the board.

Keep in mind Hwks have no 2nd or 3rd round picks this year as part of the Uduya trd. I suspect StanBow will not be of any mind to trade away more picks.

Good question TG and after the Niemi/Hammer sagas...don't think Dougie's shirt will be up there any time soon...and why not my man Larmer ? WTF are they waiting for on 28 ?

Leddy for Little: no nay never...

no regular hawk playing NOW is going anywhere unless the Red sea opens and Bowman sees a Moses' type leader sitting there ripe for plucking.

and if stan does come up with THAT kind of deal, I will even read "Tab's" article on how "Bowman best GM in hockey?"

(which to me smells and reads like hokey...)

this is more about...
Who is that seasoned vet who would love one last chance to win the silver?

- wiz1901

Save yourself the drama of reading Tab. The guy is a tool. Id' rather read another knee pad article from David Haugh.

my dad and i just had that conversation the other day. Larmer played most of his career here but like so many other hawks of the era (Savard, Chelios, Olcyzk, Noonan ) all had to leave to win the cup

Yes, and why isn't Larmer in the Hall of Fame?
