Everybody is off tonight. They have no energy. The heavy schedule has caught up to them. No big deal the streak had to end eventually and better it be with a non-playoff team.

I will say though that Bollig really doesn't belong on this team. Send him back to Rockford for good.

Avs are doing a good job of keeping the pressure on with the lead. Hawks (Q) like to sit back in the 1-2-2 with the lead - makes for high blood pressure, one goal games and scary 3rd periods.

As much as I'd love to see a game like that Calgary comeback in 09, the streak had to end some time somehow. Enjoyed the ride while it lasted. Here's hoping the Hawks bounce back next game and respond well to what looks to be a very humiliating loss.

Please stop this nonsense. Do you realize that we play other teams every night. Other professionals with pride. Toews gets hit after whistles a bit because he is around the puck and goal. That is it. You don't want to be hit, don't go by the goal.

Toews is a grown man..he knows what is happening.

I count only 3 games when they were ahead in the 3rd and gave up a tying goal: first Detroit game, Anaheim, and Vancouver.

Close calls don't show up in the standings, only wins and loses.

For giggles, and not gigglesworth, I would like to see the hawks score one early in period. To see how fast the Avs meltdown.
