Leddy hasn't looked very comfortable against the Avs in my opinion, and Rosy isn't fast enough to keep up with a lot of these younger forwards. 3rd d-pairing could improve.

Edit: It's no secret that Kane needs to get better in his own zone. Weren't Olcyzk and Foley preaching about never making a no-look back-pass near your own blue-line when James Wiz did that earlier this season when we played the BJacks? Kane scares me with that kind of crap all the time.

But it all seriousness, ultimately I think it comes down to the Avs management and ownership being crap. The O'Reilly soap opera reminded everyone of how incompetent they are, but I remember the Avs refusing to pony up the coin for their younger stars, and that's part of what has sent them down this path to mediocrity.

Been a pretty regular occurrence so far, at this point I expect the Hawks to play through that and still succeed. Hasn't stopped them yet, shouldn't stop them now.
