Dubey's had a .918, .914,.916 last 3 seasons. That's slightly above average. Bernier hasn't proved to be more than a back up goalie. Until Bernier's proved more I can't say he's better than Dubey.

Side note: Don't act like you've seen an oilers game this year. Other teams' fans constantly try to, we oiler fans can tell.

Dude is a backup. Tambs needs to nut up and trade for a #1. A legit, Grant Fuhr type, which is not in your pipeline.

Giving up a huge piece to do it seems worth it in the long run.

It's pathetic actually.

The only positive is they realized retooling wasn't going to get it done and opted for the complete rebuild.

Un fortunately the only thing the rebuild has proven is that Lowe and Tambellini don't know what they're doing and Katz doesn't seem to be worried because the building is full.

Perhaps the Oilers management team could head to Ottawa for a one year internship and learn how to build a hockey team.
