Not in terms of the on-ice product, this year. Besides, anyone who believes merely replacing Horcoff with a similar player that's a better leader will suddenly fix the team has to get a reality check. 3c is about 8th priority in terms of making the team better.

Dubnyk's 121 games and career .912 on the Edmonton (frank)ing oilers, is a helluva lot better than 55 games and career .910 on a team that just won the cup.

I'll take Dubnyk over Bernier until Bernier can prove he can play more than 25 games in a season

Seriously, Dubnyk looks like an average goalie way more often than he looks like a dominant one. This is now his third season to prove himself. There is only so many times you can keep blaming the defense.

I never said anything about the quality of leadership. I'm saying that if you replace Horcoff with a better leader who's only as good as a player, the affect will be negligible.

And if you put aside the 3C issue and go get a #1 dman, it wouldn't matter what kind of leader that dman was - It would make the team decidedly better.
