Bernier's best season with over 10GP, he had a .913. I wouldn't compare him to Schneider's .936 last year. - TheNugeIsHuge
Insomuch as Bernier and Schneider have never been anything but back up goalies and they are both being heralded as legit 1A starters. |

Could you really imagine Miller on the oil right now? Jesus....... he'd have a meltdown and be sent to the funny farm in 10 games. The guy doesn't handle losing well and doesn't strike me as a great team guy - Sheppy99
I think he would understand losing more being on a young team like the oilers. He can be very emotional, Having a veteran like Miller would give the whole team more confidence IMO. |

Grigorenko+Miller for Khabi+Hartikainen.
That's what I'm basically hearing from you guys.
Guys. I can't believe how much you're underselling Dubey. This guy has been lights out this year and has the stats to prove it. When you say he's no better than a backup, I can't tell if you're trolling, or just ignorant and retarded. - TheNugeIsHuge
I am thinking Hall, Dub and Horcoff for Regehr and Miller.
Tell me that does not make you a playoff team. Please.
(assuming Buff uses the buyout at yr-end) |

He's a great goalie but I think he'd serve better on a team like the Flyers. A real contender. Just seems like he's tired of being on teams that are suffering growing pains right now.... Every interview he looks more and more bitter.
But you never know, a fresh start could be what the doctor ordered and they certainly have a ton of prospects to get a deal done. |

The last two games:
Stealing a win in Detroit
Stealing a win in Calgary (against SJ)
Kip's a notoriously slow starter. A GAA based mostly on 6 average starts, for a man who has proven for yrs to carry an inferior product, does not equate Dub.
Sorry.
Give me his last 2 as his MO - FLflames34
I agree that the Oilers need a number one Goalie, last time Oilers got a real number one Goalie ot was Cujo and maybe Tommy Salo. |

He's American and his Bimbo Gf is in Cali; pretending to be an actress. Send him to the Ducks/Sharks. He just wouldn't fit on the Oilers. |

The past 4 years I feel he just is getting more and more depressed. The oilers could rejuvenate him, butI agree that he wants to go to a contender more than anything. Philly could be either the perfect fit or extremely terrible If he dosen't deliver. The demands to win a champ there could really screw him. |

Doubtful, the kids are still too young and your vets are terrible. There also seems to be a culture of losing which management has incudbated for too long.
Not trying to troll, just stating the obvious. EDM may still be a couple years before the big turnaround. |

Too bad for the injury. That was a Stanley Cup team. I thought they'd win that yr.
Kind of like Calgary's phantom goal. |

Salo had some strong moments but I had little faith in him.
