Makes perfect sense ,Perry had Getzlaf and all he could accomplish (forgeting about the fact he was on a stacked team) was a 50 goal season , Kessel had freaken Grabo and Bozak and got 3 30+ goal seasons.

Agreed......

Toronto's not gonna give up Kessel for a player that they can get in the off season for nothing. Perry's already made it clear that he wants to be closer to home. And I doubt Anaheim's gonna trade away anyone the way they're playing, regardless of the fact that the're gonna lose Perry at the end of the year, they might not be this close to a cup contending team for a while once Selanne and Koivu retire
