EK, why do we get this sinking feeling that joe thornton possibly could make his way towards chicago, i fricken hope not, if we're gonna take on some $$ and size, i'd rather see vinny or getzlaf show up on west madison street. ( just repeatin what some were talkin about around the halls at the game last night.
actually , i'd like to see a deal with the sen's for smith & neil instead.

thornton might be the most marketable piece that could garner the picks and prospects the Sharks have sent away in recent years. the cupboard is bare for SJ, and they shouldn't have re-upped with marleau when they did. after couture, how many high end players do they have that are under 25?

I would love it if the Bruins brought back Thornton. He was my favorite growing up. He could immediately help on the PP and shutdown on the 3rd line with Kelly and Peverly. He also brings that secondary scoring the Bruins will need in the months coming

It would be nice to see him back in a Boston sweater and on a good Bruins team for once.

Thornton and Marleau (and Boyle) have NMC contracts. Boyle is about the only D player that shows up every game for the Sharks. Thornton is still producing for the Sharks. However anything is possible, but IMO Marleau would be moved first.

Marleau's game has become pathetic, he has been moved to the 2nd line and without JT feeding him amazing passes he has become useless. Love the guy but he needs a change of enviroment to get his game back. Hes just too comfy here in SJ.

Highly doubt it happens, but could you imagine putting him on the wing with Lucic and Krejci. You could drop Horton to the 3rd to get that line scoring. That would be some serious depth come playoff time.

if none of these players are moved it means we did not go for it at all. i expect at least one, likely two of these players to be moved.

we're not getting impact players for lane macdermid.

svedberg and subban could be in play as well.

this actually makes a bit of sense for Calgary future wise and Bs presently

Everyone knows Boston is going hard after Iginla, its been splashed all over every rumor site and twitter for weeks now..So again you failed to bring anything new to the table on that one..

As far as the Hawks looking to add a big center and make a splash before the deadline, you can add them to at least 15 other teams that are looking to do the same thing..Again you bring forth nothing new for your readers on this one..

Lindy Ruff will be a coach in the nhl again but i have my doubts itll happen before next season..As far as word on the street about this happening, again its been all over the net with people speculating about it..

And finally where the hell is your rumor chart that you have promised for days now? What was this big thing that was gona happen last night that was holding you up from posting it..Its nice to see you say 100% itll be up and then you delete that part of your blog and not mention it again..

What I don't understand is why anybody would pay for this site. There is no possible way that this guys rumor chart has any more info to supply then his already horrible blogs.

Seeing as every fan already knows that following rumors is an ever changing landscape, and has to take in so many factors.

Does his Rumor chart just quote TSN like every one of his blogs. I swear I can't believe how many time I have to read "AS PER TSN" on this site.

Then the best is when we get this 8 page essay explaining why what Eklund does what he does and of course zero rumors for the day.

Telling people a player is going to Boston without naming the player, shows that your info is made up and vague on purpose.

I wouldn't even wish that on my worst enemy.
- Gmcc24

Haha, I wouldn't either, but it's close (enough) to home, and Capuano's gotta be one of the next guys out the door.

Iginla isn't a star.
- Scooby_Doo

its confusing that your STAR player Kesel seems to have less goals than the non-star or WAS a star Iggy and only 2 more points.....

Wouldn't be a horrible idea seeing as the team is moving to Brooklyn and a big name coach would help sell the team a bit.

Why not? You could always put him on the wing in the 1st line

Have fun w/Ruff. Check his record w/out Dominik Hasek in net.

That would be nice. But if SJ wanted a center in return buh bye Kelly.

Lucic-J.Thornton-Horton
Marchand-Bergeron-Seguin
MacDermid-Krejci-High Glass Peverly
Breakaway Paille- Campbell - S.Thorton

Is how I would go. GO ahead an kill me for dropping Krejci the guy is not a top liner IMO too inconsistent and right now the Bergeron line should not be touched.
