I'm just saying Kessel >>>>>>>Perry (both are snipers and Kess has been more consistant)

if you really are a Blue Jackets fan, it would make sense because your team has been making these assumptions since they were established.....i mean come on

I say it never happens , Anaheim will ride Perry all the way to the playoffs and then trade his rights in the summer when he will be asking for 8 million.

i'd look for nashville to add some scoring at the deadline, that seems to be one of their weak spots (having no real offensive threats). they've got great depth up front just no real high end guys. it killed them in the playoffs last year, no one could finish.

I would be shocked to see Nashville trade for a goal scorer, although it'd be in their best interest. That would be a very difficult team to beat in a best of 7.
Heatley for Weber should get it done

By "big center", the Hawks are looking for big physically, not a big name necessarily. StanBo isn't going to take on huge salary, or trade too many of his seedlings from the farm. That's just not his way of doing things...sometimes unfortunately.

I don't know a lot about their financial situation but I'm guessing things are pretty tight in nashville, they might take a gamble on someone underperforming/needing a change of scenery if they can buy low enough. I'd love to see them make a splash but it does seem unlikely even if it appears necessary. They definitely need to do something to shake things up.

Their attendance has been very good for the last few years, and it's not like they're charging $10 for a ticket so I'm a little curious as to why ownership is so reluctant to increase payroll even slightly. Gotta spend it to make it, most times

We take our trade rumors seriously in Chicago right now..... Call it a by-product of the streak
- Jagbears

Yeah, but StanBo seems so risk aversive, that they'll just a get a plumber, at best. I'll give him credit though, he was patient when most everyone else was losing their minds the past two seasons.

Chicago has yet to lose a game in regulation yet a significant percentage of the fanbase is begging for a trade.... must be rough

This site is a joke.
If Eklund's thing is posting rumors in the timely manner,
he is failing miserably with the damn chart.
Laughable to say the least.

Correct about the Hawks

With Sharp out for a month

I say bring up 3 forward prospects for two weeks and then make decesions about the deadline.
1.We rest the injured
2.See which prospects from the AHL may surprise
3. Show case these same guys to help add a piece at the dealine

Well, yeah, stumbled upon it a week or so ago,
and for a week the guy is claiming to have fascinating rumors and it's ready to go
like now.
What a joke.
