Honest question. Are you not a little affraid that the window with these number one picks is short given they will all be looking for big money once they are RFAs? Edmonton really needs to make the playoffs soon before they start losing this young talent to free agency in the next few years.

Money really isn't an issue because if they are worth 6mil and you have no cap space you can trade them.

I never thought we'd win early anyway. None of these guys are Malkin or Crosby, and we don't have the Keith or Seabrook that Chicago had.

My biggest concern is the GM being able to make the tough decision in a couple years and dealing a Eberle or Hall.
