For my money does it get any better than when a man loves a woman? But it mut be twice as hard for you, sharing the same name and all.

Amazing story....For someone who could never read music and learned by listening to some of the greats.

I'm sure if you asked Buddy Guy who is the best Blues Guitar player alive he wouldn't hesitate and would say BB King.

But Guy is a real talent...And he has a profound respect for the men who came before him.

An old timer named Dave Myers actually got mad at me when I suggested Buddy was the best living guitarist (forgetting BB). I sensed some jealousy of the flashy "youngster" who made it big. Dave was a good bass player and a great accompanyist to harp players like Little Walter. I played with him one night and did a bunch of little walter. He kept time with his stub leg (lost to diabetes) and his pants were tied in a knot. Distracting and almost started laughing on stage...but was too scared to do little walter with an original Ace to actully laugh i know, I know, you're happy for me...

Wow. Gotta chime in on this one. Albert, B.B., and SRV were better, IMO. I cut my teeth in Rosa's lounge in the late 90's and have talked to many old timers who scoff at the idea hat Buddy is one of the all time greats. Entertaining and I love the stuff he did with Junior Wells, but I'll even go Mike Bloomfield and some Clapton stuff before I go Buddy Guy. All subjective. Just love tht some people still care enough about the blues to argue! Anyone play? I have harps and will travel!!!

Won't say who's the best, but I REALLY like three of them.

Would've been better if they had put a correct photo of Jesus (Brandon Saad) in the video instead of that Tebow fella

I like it, if I say this stuff I am an ahole, but somehow, when a man holds a cat and says it, its more comforting...

I know I'm changin' the subject but...

...watchin' this Pens at Flyers matchup. Fun, but both are a mess in their own zone.

Do these 2 teams ever play a game that doesn't result in 10 plus goals?

I originally said Albert King was best: I admit I was wrong - THERE IS NO BEST - just a bunch of greats.

Will this joke ever die, or will it be put on ice and brought back when needed ad infinitum?

[quote=jhawk59]Has anyone suggested this team keeps the winning formula intact by keeping Stalberg through the playoffs?

Yes, and they will.

The day job takes me into distressed buildings all the time. About a year and a half ago I had to do the forensics on a house fire on the north end of town. Smoke on the walls & ceilings was pretty heavy, but in the master bedroom up on a stand stood "lucille". Signed by the man himself. Got a few real good pictures of that. Couldn't believe the owner left it there like that.

Was solo stuff but a lot heavier. Bruce Kulick was the guitar player before he joined Kiss. He was in a band in the seventies that was more rock as well....enjoy....
