Which stat should I use? The not winning a playoff game since 1993? The fact that you finished last in the division how many times in a row? Yeah, tell me again how the isles are as good as the Rangers.

If you want to say the Rangers are a better team than the Isles, you'll get absolutely no argument from me. You were talking about offense this season. Don't move the goalposts now because you were laughably wrong.

The isles are a joke plain and simple. Your team tried like hell to win last night and the Rangers still won. That's all that matters.

Just get your facts straight before making dumb arguments. That's all I ask.

Ah, ok, I see, you're an idiot. Because the style of play these teams play doesn't effect their goal totals. Right. Ok, I'm out, they're no intelligent life down here.

Moulson was NOTHING before he started playing with Tavares.

He has had 97 goals and 170 points the last 3 seasons playing with JT.

Nash has had 95 goals and 192 points in the last 3 seasons playing for the worst team in hockey with no-name centers.

I am sure if Nash was playing with Tavares the last three years those totals would have increased dramatically. After all, Tavares has been on the ice for 36 out of Moulson's last 37 goals.

If we go back the last 4 years Nash has 135 goals and Moulson has 98. Moulson is 29 years old and Nash is 28. Nash has 297 career goals. Moulson has 114.

I am not denying that Matt Moulson is an excellent goalscorer. He certainly is.

But, he has nowhere near the Hall of Fame talent and ability of Rick Nash.

You had me sold till you mentioned Nash & the HoF

Without Quick the Kings are dead in the water, especially last year. What is your point?

I normally despise drum solos at shows, Pert is one drummer that could go on for hours and I would'nt mind
- Cptmjl

Bonham's live stuff was awesome too! Playing with his hands. He had arguably the best pedal foot in all of music. Listen to the bass drum on Good Times Bad Times...that's on a SINGLE pedal! Most drummers had trouble doing that with a double! Damn Vodka shots

what game did you watch the only line that i thought that sucked was fran's line..which is common...the other three were physical and finished there checks...the team played well last night the effort was there..the exceution wasnt at times but you got an honest effort from pretty much everyone not named bailey or okposo
- NYI78

they were only physical in the 1st period, then laid off in 2nd, and cometely non-existing in 3rd.....also when its a tight game, sorry but your 1st line has 2 step up a little bit more and produce. Torts double shifted Nash in the 3rd, and his big presence caused problems, and lack of physical play and stick-checking D-men is the reason why we lost.

And the season series is 2-1...two of those games went to overtime. I'd say folks who felt the Rangers were a cup contender are quickly becoming nervous about that prediction. These teams aren't as far apart from eachother as you'd like to believe.

-On “Passengers”: Cappy – “…a couple of guys battle level’s gotta be better, it has to be. They’ll see it, we’ll talk to them, but but if they’re gonna want to stay in the lineup they’re gonna have to pick it up. We can’t have 10 or 11 forwards going, we need all 12. It was there for the most part, but it wasn’t there for the full 60″. Stan Fischler then asked him “Are they aware, these guys, that you’re talking about?” To which Capuano replied, “I think some guys are aware. If they’re not, they’ll be aware tomorrow. But again, I don’t want to take anything away from the guys, we battled tonight…I was pleased with the effort of our guys…” A very mixed message indeed.

Hmmmmm, he's basically calling out 2 maybe three forwards....any guesses?

That's my guess. Why Reasoner is still in the linup is a joke. As good as the first and 4th lines have been if guys like Bailey, KO, and Frans do not find a way to score goals the Isles are toast. These three especially never manage to score a big goal.

And on the Cappy front...with his brilliant addition of Boulton to the lineup to combat Michael Haley's 5:31 of icetime, Boulton had 8 minutes (more than I thought he'd see).

What really is troubling to me is that Michael Grabner, who was the best player on the ice last night, had less than 10 minutes icetime...WTF!?!?!
Again, Ulstrom should have been on the ice and the Isles should have carried the same lineup from Montreal. Cappy is KILLING this team

I thought Reasoner gave what he had last night. He's just not good...

The other two...if you're going to be on the second line getting all those minutes, you better be able to put in more goals than Colin McDonald and frequently scratched Keith Aucoin and David Ullstrom. The Bailey and Okposo experiments should probably be coming to an end soon. Bailey looks pretty good out there at times, and Okposo looks like he's trying a bit harder these days, but it's tough to keep a guy like Grabner on the fourth line in favor of those two when you look at their performance by any measure.

Garth loves to say this team has the talent to win then the coach is the problem. You do not want to give up guys like KO and Bailey then bring in a better coach. Grabner playing 10 minutes and playing with crap and he still manages to show something. Jack should be fired for his handling of Grabner alone.

To me, if playing an undermanned squad, you have to let your roster dictate the terms to them. You throw as much talent out there as possible and overwhelm them with HOCKEY. Instead we iced a lineup with Boulton inserted strictly as an answer to Haley....for what? Two of the last three appearances for Boulton did not contain a scrap. Were we so worried about a light/middleweight kid who would play 5 minutes of hockey that we'd remove one of the few semi-talented big bodies we have?
Just a terrible decision.
