Nikki Sixx is overrated and sux. Geddy Lee, Billy Sheehan, Will Lee and Tony Levin are talented bass players. Sixx....sux! - Charlie21

The greatest show on earth....and the first music marketing legends. Of course, their songs are the ones you learn to play when you first pick up whatever instrument it is you're playing. I understand disliking them, though- my pet peeve is Bad Company. I think that music is cr*p, and I always have. |

One word.... Madonna. If you make a spectacle enough of yourself, you can overcome talent deficiency. Sometimes beimg a good showman is all it takes - keaner17
Kiss is WAY better than Madonna....at least they actually PLAY instruments and SING songs at their concerts. |

Real bad analogy when Lee has even admitted in interviews that limelight was Peart's - IslesGal
All the lyrics are Peart's....except for the songs about beer and girls on the first album. Peart has actually read actual books, so he's a little bit better at writing than most musicians . That said, my favorite is Maynard Keenan, but Peart is pretty close. |

Best drummer in rock and roll. Him and Dave Lombardo - Cptmjl
I agree....but I'd also put Dale Crover on that list. If you're talking all time "favorite", though, I'd have to go with John Henry Bonham . |

Rangers miss the playoffs by two points this year. - mighty13duck
Let me clarify this for you, you brain dead idiot, the Rangers are a MUCH better team than the isles. More than half your team should be playing in the AHL. You have been the joke of the NHL for more than 20 years. LoserLMAO |

Saying the Rangers would be nothing without Lundqvist is funny when I heard 7,000 Islanders fans chanting Lundqvist sucks all night.
Which is it? |

it's one thing for fans to complain about officiating, that's what we do.
Was a little surprised that the Islanders themselves whined so much after the game about the officiating. Every other fan blasts anything John Tortorella says to the media. So I am allowed to bring it up that the coach of the Islanders used a penalty as an excuse for the loss.
Let me tell you guys something. The Rangers played Buffalo the other night and the Rangers had TWO penalties in overtime, a rare 5 on 3 for a full two minutes on overtime.
You know what they did? They didn't whine about it, they KILLED IT OFF.
And then won in the shootout, where Lundqvist is virtually unbeatable. |

How 'bout Grabner with three goals in the last three games, and getting them while put on, for all intents and purposes, the fourth line. I really feel like he's an afterthought on this team when he could be a main component. - UIF
You should change could to should..if you were going to rank the current Islanders roster from 1 to 23...Grabner would be in the top 5. |

I would disagree in terms of offensive talent, because I think we can hang with anyone in that category, but your boys ARE better where it counts- in their own end of the ice. If we had a coach who forced these guys to play defense the way your coach does, we'd be a lot better than you think. |

what game did you watch the only line that i thought that sucked was fran's line..which is common...the other three were physical and finished there checks...the team played well last night the effort was there..the exceution wasnt at times but you got an honest effort from pretty much everyone not named bailey or okposo - NYI78
Yeah, they have to do something about that. Michael Grabner now has twice as many goals as the entire "second" line combined while exiled to a bad line playing considerably fewer minutes...so I guess ice time isn't merit-based! |

Yeah...like I said....ONE power play would have been nice....but the real problem is that our guys confuse "blocking shots" with "screening the goaltender". |

I disagree, when the Rangers are healthy they are a much more well rounded offensive team. And they are more defensively responsible which counts for a lot. Rangers are better in every way. |

That is false- the Islanders outplayed your team for 35 of the first 40 minutes. If it wasn't for Lundqvist and shot blocking, you'd have been down 4-0 by the end of the second. The key is that your team plays so well defensively, even when they get totally outplayed for two periods, they are still only down 1-0, which gives them a chance to come back and win, which they did. That is the ONLY difference between the two teams at this point, like I said. |

Goals for:
13 NY ISLANDERS
20 NY RANGERS
They must have just not been healthy all season. |

I thought the first period was even, the Islanders outplayed the Rangers in the second period, mostly because of the chances that the Islanders generated on the penalty kill which they despised so much, but the Rangers dominated the third.
There is no one on that team that can handle Nash and his size, by the third period when everyone's a little more tired, he just takes over a game, probably not a coincidence that every one of his eight goals this season have been in the third period. |

Don't need to convince me! I'd put him second behind only Tavares if it's based on the season up to now. |
