You said the guy was invisible when he doesn't play the Islanders.

I pointed out he had two 40+ goal seasons in the 2 of his 3 Ranger years he was healthy. He scored 76 and 86 points in those two years. That is hardly invisible.

Its been 15 years since the Islanders had a player that scored MORE than 40 goals in a season and I'm sure he wasn't invisible!

a few things, I am up early and drive an hour plus to Stamford daily, which doesn't always allow me to post a new blog early in the AM. 2) I like reading all the comments posted and incorporating/touching on some of the points made, which is why I don't always post one early in the AM. In addition, usually have a bit more information in there, which takes a bit longer to flesh out and write. 3) I am a male not a female. 4) Comments about my religion from my usual readers are taken with a grain of salt as I know usually they are kidding and I have a thick skin. From others, depends on the comment. I am sorry if the later posts mean that I am an inefficient, ineffectual and secondary type blogger compared to others, but I think those who read and comment daily would disagree.

Not for nothing I'm not PC in any way, far from it but comments about someone's religion on here is pushing it whether it's funny or not, lol. I mean I can question letsgoisles sexuality but religion is going to far. A couple of your posters came in here having fun and some took them I guess a little seriously. I don't think there is a debate about who has a more informed or knowledgable blogger? We all know the answer to that. It's a no brainer. This whole Nash thing is getting a little annoying. Again, I think we all agree it was a stupid comment and none of us actually think Dee has a clue. Christ, most of us don't even read her blogs, we just BS on here. She's a douche for writing what she did but are you guys really up in arms about what this homer is writing? It's like making fun of a disabled child(we do it some times none the less). Tell your readers to PM her as Keaner pointed out earlier. That would make more sense. This is almost getting as tired as all the PA BS that goes on here, enough already. You guys want to come in here and screw around that's one thing I think everyone is down for a little rivalry fun but this Nash shat is played. Heres to a good game tonight

Yeah, the old "we had him on our radar all along" routine. Come on man, if Nash does'nt go down you don't see Hamrlik. Smarten up, not beating this horse with you anymore.

Brutally honest, couldn't give a crap about the Nash thing. Think the main thrust was don't make a comment about another team's player if your team isn;t playing that opponent, but in general and in this case, has little impact on me.

What a horrible thing to say.
- Pete V

Harsh yes. Not horrible, tho. I truly hope Staal recovers fully. Any fan or team would have him in a heartbeat. He's a ranger I find no fault with. But I hope he learns a lesson and wears a shield from here on. Even if it effects his performance a little, so what. I think over 80% of all players wear them. If it makes him more susceptible to injury without it, then he's suffering from the ME-first mentality. His injury could have been avoided. No one will question his toughness or anything else if he does put it on.

Which further proves that he still knows nothing about the sport- there was absolutely nothing that team needed more than to have a reason for it to bond. That wasn't about violence- it was about standing up for your brothers.

The other problem is this- the fans LIKE IT. You know...THE FANS. The people who BUY THE TICKETS.....yeah, THEM. This guy ran a business? For real? You have to wonder sometimes.

- dcb1

agreed... the beatdown was the 2nd best thing that night; first being they finally felt like a team and would stick up for each other.

You may know him as Goldie at the Coliseum

A West Hempstead man was arrested on charges he forcibly touched a female in the Nassau Coliseum parking lot after the Islanders game on Sunday night.

According to detectives, a 21-year-old victim was standing outside the Uniondale-based Coliseum with friends when Craig Stanley, 54, allegedly approached the group and proceeded to touch the victim in an inappropriate manner.

Stanley is charged with Forcible Touching and is scheduled to appear on March 19 at First District Court in Hempstead.
