Boulton in for Ulstrom...*sigh*
I'd much rather we try to overwhelm them with depth than bring up Boulton for his 'maybe' encounter with Haley and 4 minutes playing time. With Staal and Richards out, it would seem to me that icing the deepest lineup possible would be the wiser decision. |

Don't you have to catch up on reading the new CBA that you have downloaded on your CPU? - NYIDRIVE4FIVE
Nah, I pretty much am way more informed than you are on anything related to hockey.
You really should think twice before you write something ignorant.
And.... when people point out that something as being a tad off base you should man up and accept it instead of trying to get back at them with what you would consider an insult.
Makes you look small. |

I agree. This is not the Rangers team of last year with a ton of fighting majors. They haven't dropped the gloves much this year.
I am glad to see a hack like Boulton in the line-up with Ullstrom sitting on the sidelines. Much less skill in the line-up with Boulton. |

Yea. If Boulton could play a regular shift I'd be all for this. But this screws up the lines and chemistry in my opinion. Who is Boulton going to skate with? Is omeone going to double shift with Reasoner and Grabner? Are you going to break up Cizikas, McDonald, Martin? Never a fan of guys that play 4 minutes a night |

whats with the constant need to insult??? dude!!!! RELAX!!!....
"Many fans speculated the move was made as a result of Marc Staal being injured. That turned out to be untrue, as multiple reports pointed towards the Rangers discussing bringing in Hamrlik before the Rangers beat the Philadelphia Flyers (and thus before Staal was injured)." - LetsGoIsles
Don't tell me to relax and stop with the high road bs. I know who you are. Idk where you got that nut I doubt the rangers get hsmrlik if staal doesn't go down you know it give it a rest |

Good point...probably means Grabner just doesn't play as much, which is a strange way to reward a guy who's scored in two straight games. Kind of sucks for him getting stuck on a line with Reasoner and Boulton too. Jeez. |

they need toughness in the lineup. You know Haley is going to take runs at guys and look to start stuff. I'd rather have Boulton be out there and lose him to a fighting major than have it be Martin or someone else who is actually valuable to the team. |

Bruins put Chris Bourque on waivers. What do you think if Isles claim him? |

You said the guy was invisible when he doesn't play the Islanders.
I pointed out he had two 40+ goal seasons in the 2 of his 3 Ranger years he was healthy. He scored 76 and 86 points in those two years. That is hardly invisible.
Its been 15 years since the Islanders had a player that scored MORE than 40 goals in a season and I'm sure he wasn't invisible! |

Disagree. Even if a fight were to happen with Martin, we'd only lose him for 2-5 min. I'd rather get the extra 10-12 minutes with Ulstrom and risk losing Martin for 5 than have Bolton for 4-5 minutes and have no forward size outside of the MCM line. McDonald could just as easily step in with Haley too. |

Boulton in the line up is not really the smartest thing, can't run four lines regularly. Boulton sucks, can't skate. |

Well, Hagelin & Callahan have scored a lot of goals for the Rangers too this year. - B2B76
Yeah, I'd say offensively we are pretty much even. A 2-1 win is ALWAYS better than a 5-4 loss- if my scorers don't score as much because they're playing defense properly, I'll take that any day of the week over pond hockey. That has nothing to do with straight offensive "talent".
Of course, defensively, we are cr*p, which is a coaching issue, IMHO. |

The problem is the ice time the rest of the forwards will have to absorb. Boulton is just plain ineffective and at times a detriment. |

I think most of us got it, the more funny thing was a couple times i was giving it back and it was taken seriously. Goes both ways like one of our Islander posters |
