Eddie Van Halen bores me, to be honest. Won't argue his technical abilities, and as someone who's fumbled around on a guitar for many years, I respect that. But there are plenty of guys half as fast who sound twice as good, just imo.

Agreed.. That's why I prefer to consider versatility first. A great guitarist should play EVERYTHING. Even though he became way sloppy after 1975 it's why I always ranked Page higher. Not to mention he was a much better composer

He is horrible. Grabner is scoring goals playing with crap and every game Jack talks about passengers and it's the same lousy lineup. Ruff is out there and will not cost Charles millions there is no excuse not to hire him right now.
