I wonder if they make a play to get Ruff? Something has to change, easier to change a coach in the short term then move players.

Oh, and a good coach gets his team to shut the door with a lead, like the Penguins did.

It's just one game. Sleep it off. Flyers are going to be just fine.

buyers or seller?

The brass won't sell unless they are mathematically eliminated before the TD. Although it should benefit the team in the long run, the owner isn't interested in the long run.

I'm interested in what his reasoning was behind pulling Breeze when he wasn't playing badly. That sorta signaled to me that he threw in the towel.

It's a sign of desperation. Of a Coach who knows what's coming in the game.

Lavi's unchecked aggression against Rinaldo will not stand, man.

Considering how Kimmo just signed an extension with a NMC, gotta feeling he has no interest in moving under any circumstances.

If it was one game, I'd be fine with it. This is two games in a row they've blown leads against divisional rivals, and a continuous inability for the coach to adjust to opposing teams that are well disciplined

If someone could make a gif of Boucher moving across the crease in slow motion but the rest of the guys at normal speed.... that'd be gold

I asked you two questions. You didn't answer either one. The correct answer to both questions is the root of the problem. The Flyers did not lose this game due to a lack of effort. Playing hard is not enough in this League. Which my example of Columbus points out.
You can't defend against teams, and check teams, and hold onto leads if you don't know how. If there is no structure in place to do so. More times then not, you cannot play the way the Flyers play this year, and expect to become any good.

- MJL

Frankly, Ive played this game before. Asking questions to try and direct a conversation into a dead end that benefits you. I chose to stop playing a long time ago, if you havent noticed. However that is another matter, that I dont really care about.

I am not going to debate whether Columbus plays "hard". If you think that is a hard working team, that puts in enough effort consistently then alright. That is laughable.

Whether the Flyers have the structure in place needed to win, or more specifically the defensive structure? Perhaps they do not, and it could be improved at the very least. They also do not have enough players who work hard to begin with, or a good enough D. There is a lot more missing to this team, than a better coach.

Bringing in a new coach, who will instill a brand new system, in the middle of a short and condensed season just smells of skittles.

What happens if Murray is brought in and they continue to struggle with the same issues?

- flyer_nutter

It's not like changing coaches during the season hasn't been successful before.

Last year, for example. Worked out OK for the Kings.

Honestly...I don't understand how Rinaldo does not get more time then a player like Briere, Couturier or honestly even Giroux tonight..

It looked like Jake and Rinaldo were the only forwards that were engaged in the game.

Where the hell is the rest of the team reacting like Voracek did at the end..Breaking their stick.. Did you see when Bryz got pulled..He didn't even seem angry , as much as you can tell by watching a dude in a mask. Was just sort of oh well.

I also can't wait to see the 610 Wannabe's come on here crying about Bryz..

Lavi has run his course I think..Something is not right and that is the easiest move to make.

IN close...Dale! or whatever the hell Pitbull says

I would be suprised if Lava does go, it will be from within, although I could be wrong. I don't need to see Murray or Paddock behind the bench, and I doubt they give Berube the reins.
