I would love for the Rangers to make a deal with the Sharks for Clowe and Murray, I think they both would fit in real well here. Also, in the past when ive seen Brenden Morrow play ive thought he would also be a good player to acquire for how the Rangers play. To be honest I'm not sure how well he's doing this year but I'm pretty sure he's going to be a UFA after this year (could be wrong) and could fit in well.

Morrow's injury history is too long. Too too long.

I feel we're real close to getting on a big roll here. If we make a deal I feel its gonna be for a 3rd line type blood & guts guy, maybe someone we're not even thinking of. Maybe a trade that can be the catalyst down the road IF we won the Cup we would look back on & say that was the guy to help put us over the top, like the Matteau, Noonan & Anderson aquisitions in 94, or the Avs getting Claude Lemieux in 96, etc.

I think they're close to getting on a big roll as well. It probably will be a guy out of left field they acquire. Columbus isn't doing anything, maybe bring Prospal back? Has experience, I liked how he was always into the game. I think he has 8 goals already or something like that.

You guys are pretty cool over there, like anywhere there's always a stick in the mud or two who just refuse to have any fun. Like the entire Devils thread sans WayneZ.

Chris Pronger to address the media at noon and give a brief definition of karma and how it is truly a biatch!

It's unfortunate that anyone has to go through that but at the same time you can't ignore the concussions he inflicted

Wow. That one guy was kind of touchy, wasn't he? It's fun bantering with the regular Isles fans but not everyone understands the stories behind the humor.

I would like to think it is pretty obvious when I'm joking, but that's the problem with the written format I guess. It's not always clear. That's probably why they make those stupid emoticon things.

For obvious reasons Pronger was never liked by us but I always hoped the Rangers could find a way to get that guy. Really is sad when a player's career ends prematurely due to injury; particularly when that injury may well impact the quality of his life going forward.

Yeah, most of the regulars certainly know when you are kidding. I don't think I've ever seen that guy so obviously he isn't familiar with our collective sense of humor.

I never saw anyone as Fd up after retirement via injury than Beukeboom. He looked to be very uncomfortable & not right even years later after that cheap shot that ended his career. He was at the Messeir night & you could see him squinting from the light & seemed to have slight trouble speaking.

Well I guess nobody had it worse than Steve Moore come to think of it.

Yeah, Steve Moore for sure. I just read the article on Dominic and actually had forgotten that he and Steve were brothers.

At least for Beuk he's been able to get back into the game as a coach so the symptoms have receded to the point he can live a relatively normal life thankfully.

Boys, just read Dee's blog, make sure I don't go off in mine please. Because. a) Haley was already up and b) how what Hamrlik did years ago impacts now is somewhat beyond me and those who live in glass houses shouldn't thrown stones as to player moves. Hamrlik was scratched mainly because he shoots from the left, Wash already has several D-men like that and Oates doesn;t like playing players on the off side unless they shoot that way.
