Really? I think he may be someone who gets a look before the end of the season. I think he could be a good presence if Habs end up against teams like TOR or BOS in the playoffs... it would have to be in a very limited role, a la Galchenyuk. Wouldn't he be a better option than Kaberle or Weber in playoffs.
Of course, this is ignoring any possible moves before the deadline... - kev1586

I just think teams need to give defensemen atleast 2 or 3 years in the AHL. He just turned 21.

I'd be ok with him starting next year in Hamilton as well. But he should get some games in before the end of the season, and like I said, his presence could be useful depending who the playoff opponent ends up being...
Maybe my expectations are too high, but if he's a top league goalie, well paid, praised among GMs, now at 26 with lots of experience, I expect him to shot the door in the 3rd when the Habs have the lead, or step up and steal one when the team has an off night. Miller did it often, Brodeur did it even more often, many goalies do it.
I'm still waiting... - fidopro
Still an NHL dman, Tinordi hasnt proven that yet. - shinebox
Fair enough. I'd definitely want Tinordi to get some reg. season games before accepting him on playoff roster though before even thinking about what I mention. By that time, Hamilton will be done anyways.
He did. 2nd goal he allowed sucked. But he made some big saves all 2nd period long. He made some big saves in the 3rd. He essentially won them that game in the 2nd, in spite of that crappy goal.
They've exceeded expectations. Hopefully that doesn't entice Bergevin into doing something stupid. Definitely not a great team but definitely not a bottom feeder. - Ultimate Cyberhabs
Based on what he said to Réjean Tremblay on his show, I doubt it. He said he knows his teams has a few holes to fill still and that his philosophy is to build through the draft. Add that to what he said after the Ryder trade, that the pick that he got back was important to him,I'm fairly confident he's aware the Habs are not at their prime just yet.

As long as he keeps this in mind, I think this team could finally be heading in the right direction.
