DD will be expendable once Galchenyuk is ready to take over as 1st line center, I think.
- kev1586

So, in 2 or 3 years?

Do you offer Bouillon a one-year contract to be 7th D next season?
Behind Markov, Subban, Emelin, Diaz, Gorges, Tinordi?

- kev1586

Yes.

I detest Brian Gionta. I hate him. Aside from scoring the odd garbage goals, he has no redeeming qualities as a hockey player.

Kaberle sucks. Weber blows. Moen is trash. Armstrong is a useless plug.

Get those five out and it's positive.

- TimBits

you know there's no real reason to hate on such a class act, it makes you look like a jackass

on the other hand i am also someone who believes that the current habs team being developped probably will need to lose Gio as its Leader if he wasnt the Captain he probably would have been traded by now actually since he's been well.....not great..... is me being nice because i respect our captain

Ouch. Tough crowd.

Gionta puts in an honest effort every game. He will never be a top scoring guy but you can't fault him on effort, which is what got him the C. Kaberle has actually been servicable this year (outside of his cap hit of course). Weber, well, there is a reason Therrien hasn't played him. Moen is confusing but he's the kind of guy that teams look for at the deadline. I would rather he be quiet now than during the month of May (yeah, I said it). Armstrong is just a plug that costs little to nothing on the cap.

- Ultimate Cyberhabs

I know about Gionta...

For some reason, I've hated him since they gave the C. Must be because I grew up idolizing Saku. So I'm biased. Let's just say I'll be glad when his days as our captain are over.

I remain by what I said on Moen. He's paid to bring a physical presence. One huge hit tonight aside from that nothing. Think teams are scared to face the Habs when they see Travis (frank)ing Moen on the ice.

This is gratuitous humpmybummery. I agree with Gionta's effort and Moen to a degree. Kaberle played 1 game? since Black Lightening returned but he looked fine-ish. Armstrong is TO taint (frank) him.
- Pie

Fair enough.

Kaberle has been OK but as odd as it sounds, we really miss Diaz.

Hasn't he played 4? 1st on, yikes. 2nd one, good. 3rd one, very good. 4th one, crappy.

You bet I do. I love Bouillon. Can't believe he's playing like this at 37.

Hasn't been as good in the last 10 but still playing way ahead of what I expected.

Also, I'd leave Tinordi in Hamilton for atleast another season.

I will trust your thoughts on this. The Bs game is really the 1st one that comes to mind after Subban returned.
